One Piece, Travel and stuff

Tomorrow is the day when I will go and participate in a course that make an instructor at work. I am really looking forward to this and this will only help me grow as a person, I have the confidence that I’ll make this. Deep breaths, deep breaths! I am getting a little bit excited and nervous now.

I can hardly wait for June, the month of E3. I am so looking forward to it this year, mostly because of the next generation will start there. Sure the new Xbox will be unveiled tomorrow and Playstation 4 is already confirmed. But it still there all the bombs will drop, at least I think and hope so. It is so exciting to see what both Sony and Microsoft will bring, of course I am looking forward to Nintendo too. But they weren’t supposed to have a big E3 thing? I think I’ve heard something like that being confirmed. Oh, well. Only a few more weeks and then it go time. Good thing I’m free from work since Sony’s conference is in the middle of the night if you go by Swedish time.

I’ve started to play One Piece: Pirate Warriors for Playstation 3, I most say so far I am liking it much more than I though I would. I’ve had good honest fun with that game and it even rekindle some of my interest for the anime, so I might try to give it a go again later. Just need to remember where I stopped watching. Either way, if I continue to like this game the way I do now. I’ll definitely get the sequel when its out.

Easter vacation

So nice to have some vacation now that it is easter. I’ve been working so hard and much lately I haven’t had time doing the stuff I love. Like gaming and such. Now at least I have until Monday to do stuff, the it’s back to work on Tuesday. Wish there was some more free time, but better then nothing. And I have really needed this time of, there has been so much to do at work lately. A bit too much at times, but just gotta keep it together a few more month and it’s vacation and then I can take it really easy.

Yesterday I rewatched National Treasure, you know that adventure movie staring
Nicholas Cage. A movie I like really much, I enjoy the sequel too. I hope they make a third one as long as it’s in the same vein if the two first movies. Well after seeing the movie again I really wanted to replay some of the Uncharted games, but that will have to wait until another time.
Instead I have managed to come over a copy of the new Tomb Raider game rather cheaply, so I am looking forward to see if that game is to my liking. I’ve heard mostly good about it, so we’ll see. Right now I am playing the latest Sly Cooper game. Liking it so far, feels and sounds like a Sly game. So I am pretty pleased. A shame what they’ve done to Carmelita though. For me her Sly 2 appearance and voice will be my favorite, so much better than then the rest IMO.

I’m very much looking forward to the next time my friend Elden comes over. We are going to watch the entire season 3 of The Walking Dead. Gonna be great, we did the same with both season 1 and 2. Gotta try Telltales game if the series sometime, I’ve only heard good things about that game. Maybe I’ll get it if it’s ever released on disc for PS3 here in Sweden/Europe.

Ni no Kuni, a great RPG!

And so I’ve rescued the world of Ni no Kuni, just beat the game and it was really nice.
A really nice adventure and a good game. Without a doubt my favorite Level-5 game.
Namco Bandai has done a great job with the localization and I love the English/British voice actors. It had great characters like the Shadar, I really liked him! He was a really cool bad guy, that felt somewhat original. Maybe not much, but he felt like a really great villain, compared to many others in games. And he has such a damn cool voice!
And the lord high lord of the fairies, Drippy! He is a great character and his dialect is great. Even if I have a hard time understanding what he is saying at times. I love his “Abraca-frickin’-dabra!

Good big classic world map, a pretty good fight system, really good music. If I have to give one complaint right now, I think I’ll say it was a bit too easy. I never really had to set any strategies in a fight, just press “X” and change characters to heal from time to time. I’m not saying it’s super easy, I’ve had some hard fights in the game. Even if they are few, but after a while did stopped being challenging. And I’m not a really big fan of several boss fights after one another. I really hated than in White Knight Chronicles 2, so glad Level-5 made this game so much better than WKC2. Because I wanted to throw the controller out of the window because of that damn game sometimes. Guess, I’ll never finish that game.

Ni no Kuni really is such a great game and if you have a PS3 and want a good JRPG, get this one. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. I know I wasn’t, so 2013 as a game year has started really good. Hope the rest of the year is equally good and hope that Tales of Xillia can be released soon!

I want mail!

I’ve been feeling really sick since Monday. So I have been home from work, I don’t like that. I want to work and not be at home. Well, sure I want to be home but not when I can earn money. But not much I can do about this damn cold, I just hope I can feel well enough to work again on thursday. Right now I am having trouble sleeping, since I keep coughing.
I hate it so much and the cough medicine tastes horrible… Yuck!

I am hoping the postman will bring something good in the mail today. He will probably not arrive for another 12 hours or so. But I sure hope I get my copy of Ni no Kuni today! Since it has been marked as shipped from where I ordered it, so I really, really hope I’ll get it today. I will post again in a few hours if I get the game.

A prize from Namco Bandai

In the last days of December Namco Bandai held a competition where you could win
Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition. And it would seem that I was one of the lucky 13 winners! I already knew I had one, but I got the stuff today.

Hoho, it was such a nice package. With the game some DLC and a fankit as they themselves call it. In it was some sort of book that I can’t say I care all that much about. But there was also a zippo lighter and its beautiful! Really, really nice actually.

Well that’s all of it! So happy I won. Thank again Namco Bandai for this awesome stuff, hope to win more stuff from you in the future. I love you! Now bring on Ni No Kuni and Tales of Xillia.

Week of depression

Ugh… I’ve been unable to shake my depression for over a whole week, I really hope it’s run its course soon. It’s getting really hard to get things done, when you are feeling this down. And I still don’t want to use as much medication just too feel good, but as I said i hope it will go away soon and my spirit and energy will return. It’s most likely my winter depression kicking in, as some know I don’t like Christmas all that much… I still miss the magic feeling it had when I was a kid, I’ll probably never feel like that again about Christmas.

I have started a second playthrough of Tales of Graces f for Playstation 3, it just about the only thing I’ve had some interest in. I think I am nearing 60hours now and I’m about to enter Ghardia Shaft. For those of you who don’t know what that is, it’s the last dungeon in the main game. But I’m not going to face the last boss just yet, I’m going to do some power leveling there. And then I am going to kick the last boss so damn hard, he will feel it into next month! I really want to try to beat the boss in 60seconds or less, so I can get the trophy for it. Just to know i have finished it. Even if there are harder trophies to get…

I hope it gets better soon. It probably will, just have to run its course. Glad that I’ll soon have five whole days that I can spend on what I want, it is going to be really nice! Since it’s Christmas break from work (best thing about X-mas right now). Looking forward to that and hopefully my batteries will be fully charged again after that.

Replaying Tales of Graces f & it’s snowing

So far I haven’t played any really good games this year, sure there has been a few games that has been really great. But they have been so few… Later in the month I’ll post my best/worst games of 2012. Gotta keep that tradition alive.

So for now I am actually replaying Tales of Graces f, something I hardly do. Replaying RPG’s that is, but I really loved Graces and I actually have nothing else I really want to play. I have other games to play, but I’m not so interested in playing them. Not right now at least. It’s also so fun to replay, because I won’t make the same mistakes I made the first time. Or like I had a hard time with some stuff in the game, I’m better trained now and so far has plowed through all earlier obstacles. So I’m really having a blast!

And then we’ve gotten snow… Not to fond of this, sure it looks nice and it shines a bit brighter. But it also makes it much harder to get to work for me. Its cozy and stuff like that, would probably enjoy it more if I had a girlfriend I could snuggle together with and just enjoy the colder weather. Yeah, that would be so nice. That feel, that feel bro.
