Spel jag ser fram emot del 2

Det var dags för en ny lista av spel jag ser fram emot, det är ju inte allt för mycket kvar av detta året nu och vi känner ju inte till alla spel som kommer under 2017. Men jag gör ett försök att lista dom jag ser fram emot. Trodde först inte det var så många spel kvar från 2016 som jag ville ha, men när man började skriva denna listan kom man på flera stycken. För att se del ett av denna listan kan ni se den här.

SPEL SOM KOMMER 2016

Release: 11 oktober
Gillade verkligen rebooten av Tomb Raider, originalen föll mig aldrig i smaken dock. Men har sett fram emot uppföljaren ett tag nu. Dock blir detta inget jag spel jag kommer köpa direkt, utan kommer avvakta med detta tills det blir lite billigare. Spelet finns till Xbox One sedan ett år tillbaka.

Release: 18 oktober
I’m Batman. Again. Har varit sugen på att spela om både Arkham Asylum och Arkham City ett tag nu, men har skippat det då jag känner det blir svårare att återvända till PS3 och DualShock 3 kontrollen. Så detta passar ju mig utmärkt.

Release: 25 oktober
Darksiders tillhör ett av mina favorit spel från förra generationen, ett Zelda spel som inte är Zelda och som faktiskt är bra! Blev besviken när de släppte en remaster av tvåan istället för ettan, men nu fixar dem äntligen det och jag är glad! Hoppas vi får ett Darksiders 3 och det är mer som ettan och mindre som tvåan.

Release: 1 november(?)
Har spelat igen Shantae Risky’s Revenge & Shantae & the Pirate’s Curse och är sjukt taggad på detta! Har verkligen behövt ett plattformsspel och Shantae har levererat och ½ Gene Hero ser ut att ge mig mer av samma. Mums tack så mycket!

SPEL SOM KOMMER 2017

Release: 27 januari
Jag vet att jag även har med detta på den första listan, men detta är verkligen det spel jag längtar mest efter just nu. Vi fick ju ett datum för spelet i Europa i går också, det kommer släppas den 27e januari! Så nu ska man bara hålla ut tills dess!

Release: Q1 2017
Ett spel jag själv inte kunde vara med att Kickstarta, men som turligt nog ändå nådde sitt mål! Ett klassiskt 3D äventyr i stil med Banjo & Kazooie av folk från RARE. Så detta kan inte bli annat än fantastiskt. Har längtat otroligt mycket efter ett spel som detta till nyare konsoler. Det avslöjades nyligen också att detta ska släppas fysiskt, hurra för min del som älskar fysiska utgåvor. =)

Release: Q1 2017
Även NieR: Automata finns med på en tidigare lista, men då trodde man att spelet skulle släppas i slutet av året. Men så blev ju inte fallet. Längtan efter mer NieR är stor och jag ser fram emot att se vad PlatinumGames har gjort med gameplayet. Kommer bli så grymt detta. Hoppas det inte kommer samtidigt som alla annat…

Release: Q1 2017
Ett Musou-liknande spel med Fate karaktärerna? Sign me up! Jag är väldigt förtjust i serierna Fate/Zero och Fate/Stay Night med fler. Älskar hur de använder mytologin och sagor om olika personer för att använda dem som Servants i fighter för att få tag på den heliga graalen. Kan jag får en chans att kicka röv med Gilgamesh så ska ni fasen tro att jag gör det! Mongrels!

Release: 2017
Efter en hel del misslyckanden och mindre dåliga spel lyssnade SEGA äntligen på fansen och ger dem ett spel i stil med de klassiska MegaDrive spelen. Allt jag sett och hört av detta än så länge är underbart! Detta är ett spel jag längtat efter sedan Sonic & Knuckles. Längtar mycket!

Release: 2017
Detta är kanske det man är mest spänd på nästa år, Nintendos kommande konsol. En konsol vi fortfarande inte vet något om! Inte mer än att den sägs släppas nästa år, jag ser fram emot att få veta mer om den vilket vi förhoppningsvis får i år. Jag vill veta om spelen som kommer, jag jag vill veta allt! Det var länge sedan jag kände mig så här sugen på en Nintendo konsol igen.

E3 2015: The show so far

Now that both Microsoft and Sony’s show is over, lets see what where some of the highlights for me. I liked Microsoft’s event this year, first time ever I think. They where focused and it felt like they finally knew what they where doing, a bunch of great announcements. The first gameplay of Rise of The Tomb Raider was awesome.
The Rare collection which includes 30 titles from Rare, that’s a lot of quality games you get there. They announced that Xbox One would become backwards compatible with Xbox 360 games, which probably was my biggest surprise and something I think is great. The Minecraft / Hololens demo was pretty fucking awesome I must say.

Sony re-revealed The Last Guardian, guess it wasn’t canceled. I for one don’t care for the game at all, but I know a lot of other folks do, so I’m happy for them. Creator of Shenmue, Yu Suzuki revealed a Kickstarter for Shenmue 3, never thought I’d see the day. But then they went and revealed something I never thought I would see ever and that was the remake of Final Fantasy VII. Yes, they are finally remaking that game. I’m not a FFVII fan, I liked the game sure, but it’s not my favorite and I liked Crisis Core more. But I still got very excited over this news. They showed a lot of stuff that doesn’t interest me as much, but we got to see the first gameplay of Uncharted 4 and it looked good.

And now for two things that was not show in any of the press events, PlatinumGames is making Transformers: Devastation and it looks awesome! Really looking forward to that.

And I just check my Twitter just a short while ago, to see them having announced that they are releasing the 20th anniversary DualShock 4 controller separately! This might not a very big deal, but damn I’m in love with that color and the colored Home button. It really gets the nostalgia in me flowing, I need this controller. I’m going to get this controller when it is released in September. I’ve also wanted a second controller for a while, so this will be my new main controller and the other will be Player 2 controller.

Some really great stuff and so far one of the better E3 in a while. And let’s not forget we still have Nintendo’s and Square Enix event to see later today. But right now I need some sleep.

The end of 2014

Back to winning in English again as you can so clearly see. So here in Sweden we are almost nearing midnight and that means the end of 2014.
It had been an pretty okay year, nothing more nothing less.
The last movie of 2014 for me was Sideways that I’ve just finished watching. It was a pretty nice movie, Paul Giamatti is always great. Need to rewatch Shoot em Up again soon.

Last game I’ve played this year turned out to be Injustice: Gods Among Us for PlayStation 4. I’m guessing first game I play/beat in 2015 will be
Tomb Raider: The Definitive Edition, a great game that I’ve played before for the PlayStation 3. It felt like it was deserved to be replayed on the PS4.
I’m not so sure about my game of the year, but I’m fairly certain is either
Tales of Xillia 2 or Tales of Hearts R. The worst game for me this year is Watch_Dogs, it did not live up to the hype for me. Looking forward to all the games coming out next year all the movies,I really hope 2015 will be a really great year.

Marathon of the dead

So the weekend came and went by and I’ve finally seen the first half of season 5 of The Walking Dead. Man I really enjoy that show! The hours just flew by! Me and my friend marathon-ed it, like we’ve done with the past seasons. Now we just have to wait until the shows starts again, but man it is getting interesting. Don’t worry, I will not spoil anything for those of you who haven’t watched it. I don’t do stuff like that, it is fucking evil. I heard AMC spoiled the season ending on their own facebook, what a bunch of idiots… Oh, well.
Before we started out TWD marathon, we had hot-smoked salmon and potatoes, something I don’t eat very often. But man it is good, so good!

We also watched the keynote of the PlayStation Experience. Some good stuff there, Uncharted 4 looking really great. The Order 1886 is a bit interesting and Square Enix announcing the PC-version of Final Fantasy VII coming to PlayStation 4. Street Fighter V being a PS4 and PC exclusive, might be good for those who enjoy fighting games, I personally don’t care very much about it.
I think one of the best announcements for me was that Shovel Knight is coming to Sony’s platforms. And that they actually showed the PlayStation Vita some love. Bringing Yakuza 5 to the west, will please a lot of people. I’ve never played the games myself. All in all it was a pretty good show, but I was actually hoping for a bit more. Perhaps could have shown some unannounced JRPG or something…

With all that behind me, I can finally relax with two extra days of from work. I’ll need it since I’ll be working this upcoming weekend too… But it pays good and I really need the extra cash for January, AKA worst month of the year. I’m going to concentrate on playing more Tales of Hearts R today and if I beat the game today or tomorrow I am finally going to try Grand Theft Auto V. Heard a lot of good stuff about the game, but I’m not a GTA fan. But from what I’ve seen the game speaks to me, so I’m looking forward to see if I’ll like it. Really should try to finish Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition too, even if I played the original on PlayStation 3. Still I don’t like having games in my backlog. Thankfully I don’t have a very big backlog, but I wish I had more time to actually remove some of the games from that backlog. Hopefully I can get some vacation time around easter, so I can relax and just keep gaming. <3

It’s November again!

So here we are, November and almost at the end of 2014. Man this year has really flown by, I hardly noticed where the time went. Oh, well talking about how this year has gone will have to wait until next month. So I have a whole lot of work in front of me in November, I’m going to travel and hold a two day course about my job in Malmö. I’ve never done it away from home, so it’s both incredible freighting and somewhat exciting. The day after that I have a meeting in Malmö and then the week after that I’m going go on a two day course myself. And then there are a couple of smaller things. So yeah, I’m booked for almost two weeks. But like I said its nice and I like doing this, I’m just a bit terrified about the traveling. I’m not to fond of that since I’ll be going alone, even if Malmö is pretty close.

In 9 days I’ll finally be playing Tales of Hearts R on PlayStation TV! I’m really looking forward to that! TOHR will most likely be my last JRPG for this year, then I will have to try and get started with The Last of Us Remastered. Sure I played the original on PS3, but I want to play it again and see how much “better” the PS4-version is. I also want to play the new Tomb Raider again, finally got a hold of the Definite Edition so gotta get through that too.
Next year will be a crazy year for gaming, Final Fantasy Type-0, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Tales of Zestiria, Batman Arkham Knight and many more! My gawd!

I finished the second season of The Walking Dead game, pretty good. The first season was a bit better, but this was good too. I also beat The Legend of Korra game, I’m not so sure what I think of that… I liked parts of it, others not so much. I wish it was more polished, had a bit more variety to it. If you like Korra and Platinum Games, sure give it a try. But perhaps buy it when it’s discounted. I know there was something else I really wanted to write about, but for the life of me I can’t remember what. Hm… So I guess I’ll leave it at that today. Thinking a bit about doing a third YazTalks, just have to find a subject to talk about and I would like to make it better. Just wish I had the time for all the stuff I want to do.

Easter vacation

So nice to have some vacation now that it is easter. I’ve been working so hard and much lately I haven’t had time doing the stuff I love. Like gaming and such. Now at least I have until Monday to do stuff, the it’s back to work on Tuesday. Wish there was some more free time, but better then nothing. And I have really needed this time of, there has been so much to do at work lately. A bit too much at times, but just gotta keep it together a few more month and it’s vacation and then I can take it really easy.

Yesterday I rewatched National Treasure, you know that adventure movie staring
Nicholas Cage. A movie I like really much, I enjoy the sequel too. I hope they make a third one as long as it’s in the same vein if the two first movies. Well after seeing the movie again I really wanted to replay some of the Uncharted games, but that will have to wait until another time.
Instead I have managed to come over a copy of the new Tomb Raider game rather cheaply, so I am looking forward to see if that game is to my liking. I’ve heard mostly good about it, so we’ll see. Right now I am playing the latest Sly Cooper game. Liking it so far, feels and sounds like a Sly game. So I am pretty pleased. A shame what they’ve done to Carmelita though. For me her Sly 2 appearance and voice will be my favorite, so much better than then the rest IMO.

I’m very much looking forward to the next time my friend Elden comes over. We are going to watch the entire season 3 of The Walking Dead. Gonna be great, we did the same with both season 1 and 2. Gotta try Telltales game if the series sometime, I’ve only heard good things about that game. Maybe I’ll get it if it’s ever released on disc for PS3 here in Sweden/Europe.
