Tales of Arise hajp!!

Några av er vet redan att jag är super hajpad på Tales of Arise, jag har längtat efter spelet länge. Men snart är det här! Den 10 september kommer det äntligen släppas och jag har naturligtvis förbokat Collector’s Edition av spelet.

Som det är i dagsläget så är Tales of Arise mitt mest efterlängtade spel för i år, det kan mycket väl ändras nästa vecka. Vi har ju E3 hack i häl, så vem vet vad som avslöjas där? Det var längesedan jag kände så här mycket för ett spel, hade ju börjat tro att man tappat all form av känsla för att längta efter något.

Kändes som det var mycket, mycket mer jag ville skriva. Men får nog samla mina tankar lite mer. Här är åtminstone den senaste trailern. Njut. :D

Gör inte så här mot mig!

Gjorde ju ett inlägg igår där jag så snällt bad om att få lite nyheter om Tales of Arise. Det är ett av de spelen jag har sett fram emot under ett långt tag, men så fick vi äntligen nyheter idag. Jävla nyheter.

Tales of Arise försenas! Det kommer inte släppas 2020 längre, inget nytt datum eller annan info fick vi heller. Nu känner man sig så där ledsen igen, men visst finns mycket annat gott i år med next-gen runt hörnet… Men ändå…

Vi fick i alla fall en ny snygg artwork! Hade ju hoppats de kunde visat oss den tredje spelbarakaraktären åtminstone. Nä, nu ska jag gå och vara ledsen på annat håll istället.

Is 2020 the year of JRPG’s?

While we have gotten our fair share of JRPG’s this year, it seems like 2020 is going to start with a big bang when it comes to Japanese roll playing games. And these are just games that are announced now, who knows what more will be announced and revealed in the upcoming months. It feels like it’s a really good time to be a JRPG fan.

And yes I must say that almost all games listed here is a port/remake or the like.
Doesn’t make it any less worthwhile, for a lot of people have not been able to play the original versions. So I still think they are worth checking in, some of them have had some tremendous work done on them, like Xenoblade Chronicles.
And I’m going to miss some titles, if you feel like something is missing give me a shout! Then I’ll consider them for a second post or a video.

 

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore
RELEASE: 2020-01-17 —- CONSOLES: Nintendo Switch

Like many other games for the Wii U, I missed this one completely. But then again it wasn’t entirely on my radar at the time either. As of writing this is the first JRPG that will be released in 2020. It will apparently feature some new story content not found in the original Wii U version and feature new characters.
 

Final Fantasy VII Remake
RELEASE: 2020-03-03 —- CONSOLES: PlayStation 4

This new trailer actually dropped today! And it’s so gorgeous, I want to remind everyone I’m not a FF7 fan, but man I’m very hyped for the remake! Everything I’ve seen so far looks so good, This game looks fun and I’m really liking the action battle system and not to mention that both Aerith and Tifa look so good! Can’t wait to see the rest and hopefully we won’t have to wait all that long for the second part of the game to be released… And frog Cloud is precious! He must the protected!
They’ve also confirmed there will be a classic mode in the game, that will do away with all the action and you’ll be playing like the old classic turn based mode. Where you don’t have to feel the stress of the action, it’s great there is something for everyone.
 

Trails of Mana
RELEASE: 2020-04-24 —- CONSOLES: PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch

I never played the original and while I do have Collection of Mana, I feel the remake is more up my alley than the original. Fully 3D environment and more action based combat is making this look great. Glad they learned for the horrid Secret of Mana remake. Riesz will absolutely be in my team and probably Angela too.
 

Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition
RELEASE: 2020-??-?? —- CONSOLES: Nintendo Switch

The biggest and best surprise from the latest Nintendo Direct, I had almost given up hope they we would see the first Xenoblade on Switch. I’ve said it a couple of times but this game really deserved a port that would do it justice and not be stuck on the 3DS.
So I’m glad that’s happening now and from what we can see in the trailer above it looks really fantastic. New character models, improved textures for everything and rumors of them adding cut content. Yeah, you best believe I’m hyped for this!
I hope they do a nice collectors edition for this and I want the release date now!
 

Tales of Arise
RELEASE: 2020-??-?? —- CONSOLES: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam

The newest trailer from Tokyo Game Show, it doesn’t show much new stuff and it’s very short. But we get a tease of our third party member and what I expect to be the games mascot character. I was really hoping for more, at least get a good look and a name for this third character, oh well. I’m super hyped for this Tales of game anyways, it looks so freaking good! So looking forward to what a Tales of game with a bigger budget can deliver, so far it’s nailing it with it’s visuals.
 

Persona 5: Royal
RELEASE: 2020-??-?? —- CONSOLES: PlayStation 4

I haven’t really clicked with the Persona series and I tried the regular version of 5, but I only played a few hours of it. Thought I’d give it a second chance with this new edition.
For me this one is on the bottom of those games I’m looking forward to, I’m hoping it will click more with me this time, but we’ll see.
 

Genshin Impact
RELEASE: 2020-??-?? —- CONSOLES: PlayStation 4

A gorgeous open-world game that has some clear inspirations from our lovely
Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild. Holy hell I’m looking forward to play this game, I’m in love with the cell-shading style. If it’s only half as good as BOTW then I’m going to have a blast with this game, everything I’ve seen so far just makes me want the game even more. I like that they have a few different playable characters, hopefully that will add some variation to the game. Already liking the bow users.

Här är Tales of Arise!

Även om Bandai Namco försökte hålla detta hemligt så läckte spelet ut för någon dag sedan, vilket jag förstår måste vara hemskt för dem. Här har man gått och arbetat på ett spel så länge, bara för att någon ska ta det stora avslöjandet ifrån dem.

Under Microsofts E3 presskonferens får vi äntligen se Tales of Arise!

Efter 3 långa år, så får vi äntligen en ny del i Tales of serien. Yusuke Tomizawa tar över Tales of-serien, han har tidigare haft hand om God Eater-serien.
Det märks med seriens nyare mörka stil, men jag gillar det.
Det man ser i trailern och av spelet i rörelse så ser världen fantastisk ut.

Vi får inget konkret datum på när spelet släpps, men det bekräftas för ett 2020 släpp. Hoppas dock det är tidigt 2020 och inte senare på året.
Njut nu av denna trailer precis som jag gjort, nu ska jag börja längta och tråna efter detta ännu mer. Ahhh…. Längtar!!

Loading.se och Tales of-trådar

Som en del av er vet, så hänger jag ju på det svenska spelforumet Loading.se. Förr i tiden ägdes det av ResetMedia som gav ut tidningen Level.

Det som blev lite av mitt kall på sidan var att göra officiella trådar för Tales of-serien, en serie som jag gillar väldigt mycket. Trådar som jag lade ner mycket tid på.
Men så en dag så bestämde sig ResetMedia för att lägga ner Loading och allt hände så snabbt och skötes så jävla dåligt att ingen hann spara något av sina saker från sidan.
Det vill ju säga att både mina officiella trådar och andras officiella Loading trådar var borta, bara så där. Precis som när Thanos knäpper med fingrarna, fast det tog 100%!

Vi spolar fram tiden lite. Ett gäng eldsjälar startar upp Loading igen och nu är det inte ett girigt företag som står bakom det. Visst Loading är inte vad det än en gång var, men det har varit mitt hem så länge på nätet att jag inte kan eller vill överge det.
Efter mycket om och men och trixande så har jag lyckats få fram mina Tales of-trådar igen och har kunnat spara ner dem. Jag har återupplivat dem på min sida här.
Varför? Det är ju gammalt, det är väl ingen som bryr sig?

Jo, det är väl dessvärre lite så. Hehe. Men detta är gjort för egen del, jag har lagt ner så mycket tid på dessa och höll igång trådarna och drev stora diskussioner med medlemmarna där. Nu har jag inte kunnat rädda alla kommenterar och sådant, men jag har lyckats återskapa huvudinläggen hyfsat.
Så nu får trådarna nytt liv och kan än en gång delas med det härliga folk på Loading som jag väljer att spendera min online tid med.

Här är de gamla trådarna, fast Tales of Vesperia-tråden är en av de nya trådarna och ligger redan på nya Loading. Kände jag ville bara ha med den här också.

Det känns som det blivit lite av en tradition nu och det är väl en av få traditioner jag har. Arbetet och pillandet har påbörjats på nästa tråd till kommande Tales of-spel.

New Tales of game leaked!?

It seems like the E3 leaking has begone in earnest and it’s a damn shame, but then again I’m so excited right now and I just can’t hide it!
It has been very quite around the next mother ship Tales of title, but surly we have a name and a few pictures of it now. We welcome you Tales of Arise.

Tales of Arise seems to have a bigger budget than any other Tales of games.
And probably been in development for longer than the usually titles. They’ve put this one on Unreal 4 instead of making their own engine. I imagine that has helped a bit with the graphical upgrade. I’m so freaking hyped right now! E3 can’t start soon enough!

Well that was a lot. Now I’m eagerly awaiting the trailer, I really, really hope it doesn’t leak beforehand. I wish this hadn’t leaked either, would have been a fantastic and wonderful surprise. So yeah, I might be doing wrong in posting about this one right now, but I really can’t contain my excitement for this one.

Äntligen dags för Tales of Vesperia!!

Äntligen är Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition här! Jag har längtat som fan efter detta spelet, det ska bli så kul att få spela detta igen och då spela den kompletta versionen.
En hel del nya story delar och en hel ny extra karaktär och en äldre som blir en permanent medlem. För att inte nämna en en hel rad av ändringar.

I samband med releasen av Tales of Vesperia, så tog jag ett kort på min nuvarande Tales of-samling. Jag älskar denna spelserie. <3

Jag tog även med några spel som har Tales of-karaktärer medverkande i spelet.
Allt som hade något Tales of-relaterat fick vara med.
Denna samlingen kommer bara bli större och större så länge Tales of-serien finns. Vilket jag hoppas den kommer göra i många år till. Jag saknar den amerikanska utgåvan av PlayStation 1-versionen av Tales of Eternia eller då Tales of Destiny II som den heter där. När jag får tag på den så har jag alla Tales of-spel soon är officiella utgivna i väst. En vacker dag så ska jag ha den.
