Merry Christmas everyone!

I don’t celibate Christmas anymore, I haven’t done that in a long long time. Still I decided too go my friend ZX-Omega and his family. And it was pleasant, even if a bit frightening since there where people there I didn’t know and that was hard. Still I had a good time and I thank them all. And a great big thank you for the gift, thank you!

I also want to give a shout out to my friend Lania who gave me some Christmas game money as a gift. I really appreciate that, thank you kindly. ^^ I’ll see what I’ll spend them on, must be something good. =)

I’ve taken a break from Assassin’s Creed IV, I haven’t played or started my PS4 in over a week. Well I don’t feel like AC4 right now and I have nothing else to play on the PS4 at the moment. Still don’t regret buying it since I got it dirt cheap, but I am really looking forward to Infamous: Second Son. So for now I’ll probably be playing Tales of The Abyss 3DS, I traded in some old games and got myself a 3DS XL as a Christmas present. And I am thinking about taking up Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMIX again too. KH feels right this time of year, even if it feels nothing like Christmas this year.

Merry Christmas to you all!! Thank you for reading and the support of my site! =)

Three games I really want in 2014!

I think I’ve been pretty clear in expressing my interest in the PlayStation 4, but what games are I looking forward to next year? There are definitely a bunch of games for current gen or should I say last gen now? Either way, if it wasn’t for a bunch of trade-in deals from my local GameStop I wouldn’t have bought a PlayStation 4 yet. Since most of the games I want are still coming out on PlayStation 3, so I still have a lot of stuff too get from that console. But I’m not complaining, but here are some of the games I am looking forward to in 2014. Right now it’s only games that has been announced and have a release date.

Infamous: Second Son
PlayStation 4 – 2014-03-21 EU
I love the two previous Infamous games and I don’t think Second Son will be any different! It looks fantastic! If I didn’t get my PlayStation 4 on launch day, I would have had to get one when this game releases! So looking forward to this one, hope the “hero” Delsin turns out to be an okay character. The world and the effects of the game, looks fantastic!

Tales of Symphonia Chronicles
PlayStation 3 – 2014-02-28 EU
I have really been looking forward to replay Tales of Symphonia, so this collection is perfect. It includes both Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the new world.
ToSS made me fall in love with the Tales of-series, so I am looking forward to see what I think about it four years later. ToS is based on the PlayStation 2 version of the game that was only released in Japan, so we get some new stuff. And hopefully we’ll get to keep the real intro song this time!

Castlevania: Lords of Shadows 2
PlayStation 3 – 2014-02-28 EU
While I am not a big fan of the first game, I liked what they have done with the lore of Castlevania. Lords of Shadows 2 seems to fix the stuff I didn’t like about the first one, like dull combat and a camera straight out of hell. I’m looking forward to play as Dracula and see what he has to endured since the took the mantle of Prince of Darkness.

Well it’s a short list but it will have to do right now. Either way it’s just one more day away from PlayStation 4 launch in Europe!! The hype and everything else is rising, you know what I’m talking about ladies. (I’m kidding!). Hopefully I can get some sleep later tonight, but we’ll see. I’ll probably be to hyped! XD

Batman is beaten! And the game was…

… Really good actually! I was a bit worried when Rocksteady wouldn’t be developing Batman: Arkham Origins, but it turned out pretty good! Even if I’ve had my share of bugs and that I could have done without. Some bugs made it impossible to continue, I had to exit the game and then go back into it again for it to be possible to progress through the game. Sure, it’s not that bad. But come on! I shouldn’t have to reset the game for it to work. =/

Well the game is great and both Batman and the Joker‘s new voice actors do a great job! Troy Baker who voices the Joker is scary! He does such a good job at times, that I had a hard time telling that it wasn’t Mark Hamill that voiced him! He is great the other times too, but some times he is just as I said scary.
I love how they did with Bane in this game, he is smart, powerful and great! A shame he isn’t this good IMO in the other two Arkham games. But this is so far without a doubt my favorite version of Bane.

All in all Batman: Arkham Origins is a good game and I think you should play it if you liked the other two Arkham games. If you didn’t know this is a prequel and takes place before both Arkham Asylum and Arkham City. This became my 94th beaten PlayStation 3 game and my 23rd beaten game this year. Only six more games to beat my goal of having played and beaten 100 PlayStation 3 games! Well I’ve played well over a 100 games, but I only count them I beat. And now we are roughly two weeks away from the PlayStation 4 release here in Sweden! I’m getting hyped and pumped! So looking forward to try the DualShock 4. Hope these two weeks go by in a flash!

What I’m doing now…

I’ve been busy as usual, but last week and this week has so far been pretty good. I’ve managed to finish Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Mirror of Fate HD. Now try saying that name five times fast! It was pretty okay, the worst part about the game is its loading times. And that some of the sound effects sounds like a fart in a can. I’ll see if I can list everything about the game in a later post. That’s if I still care about it by then, which is doubtful.

Now that’s out of the way, I am going to start playing Batman: Arkham Origins. I’ve so far just seen about the intro, so I’m looking forward to start playing it tomorrow. I have watched some animes as usual and I’ve actually started watching a series I thought I would never see. That anime is Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure (2012 ver.)
So far it is really nice! And I’ve discovered that Dio Brando is one sick mofo. It’ bloodier than I anticipated, but it doesn’t bother me.

This upcoming weekend I’m just gonna relax and take it easy. Unless I have to work, if I am not working I’ll game and watch anime all weekend. Ahhh! The good life. Only around 24 days left until I have my PlayStation 4! Hype, hype, hype!! So looking forward to that. :D

Finally time for Disgaea D2!

After quite some waiting, I’ve finally got my hands on my review copy of Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness. Really been looking forward to sink my fangs into this and revisit the Netherworld. I’ve missed Laharl, Etna and Flonne, I think they’ve been the best main cast so far in the Disgaea games. Even if Valvatores in Disgaea 4 is a really close runners up.

Laharl, Etna and Flonne are back!!

Ahh, hopefully I get more Prinnies that talk bad about Etna’s lacking parts and she then proceed to torture them in ways you can only torture a demon penguin. Well I sure hope the humor and funny parts are on par with the other games, you’ll find my reviews at always at PSSverige. I’ll post here and on twitter when my review is up. For now, something to eat. Then I’m taking a trip to the Netherworld again!

Trouble with my internet

For a couple of days now I’ve had some trouble with my internet connection. Sometimes I can go online and sometimes I can not. It is really frustrating, but I’ve been told that it would be looked into in this upcoming week. So I sure hope it will be fixed, because it sucks surfing almost entirely on a mobile phone.

Well I’ve taken my time to get the platinum trophy in Tales of Xillia, it wasn’t my plan to do that it just happened. Since I had already done so many other stuff in the game. I had done so many other sidequests in the game that you seem to get trophies for, so when I saw I only had one or two more to get I thought “Why not?”.
And right now I am playing or rather have started playing One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 for PlayStation 3. Review will be up on PSSverige at a later date, I’ll post about it or just keep an eye on my twitter feed. Other upcoming reviews will be of Disgaea D2, so look forward to that. And as usually I can’t and will not speak about games until their embargo time is out. And you will always find my reviews at PSSverige.

I’ll have to update more and better on a later date, writing this much on a phone is cramping my fingers a bit. I’ll be back! =)

Saints Row IV is fun and some other stuff

Since I review games for PSSverige.se I have not got my hands Saints Row IV and I’ve played it for a while, my review is in Swedish so head over to read it there if you can. If not I can tell you it was great and awesome. Read my review of the game here.

Other than that I am tired as hell today, don’t know why. I think I have gotten enough sleep, but perhaps I’m just getting nervous that my vacation is ending soon. I start work again on Monday, but I’m mostly looking forward too it. I haven’t been as active as I usually am this vacation, so I really need the workout I get at work.
So I think I am going to be half dead when I get home from work on Monday. XD

I’m also playing Tales of Xillia, such a wonderful game. I’m about 42hours into the game and I’m not finished yet, I have been grinding and collecting stuff in the game. But it’s all good fun.
And I’ll soon be juggling Tales of Xillia with another game… Killer is Dead, its the next game I’m going to review. The embargo is until the 27:e so I will not say a thing until then and as always you can find my reviews on PSSverige.se.
Brr, now I really need too go out and clear my head before I fall asleep. Or perhaps as Snake said in MG1, I feel asleep. Haha. Take care everyone have a great weekend.
