Star Ocean, Tales and Chronicles

For the past week I have been playing Star Ocean: The Last Hope International for the Playstation 3.
It was refreshing for me to play an RPG again, and it felt very good to have finished a game I started some time ago on the Xbox 360. But due to the red ring, never could finish. So having that of my backlog is great! The game is pretty okay, cheesy as hell and it has its clichés. But I enjoyed parts of if, but I’ll probably not replay it again.

And it seems I have a few RPG’s to look forward to. The two biggest ones for me are Xenoblade Chronicles and Tales of Graces F. Good thing I can borrow my friend ZX-Omega‘s Wii so I can play Xenoblade Chronicles in the future. But today Nintendo of Europe announced that both The Last Story and Pandoras Tower will be released i Europe. So that’s two more RPG’s I just need to have! If I can afford it later I guess I’ll try and buy my own Wii.
And I’m really hoping Namco Bandai can give us some English screenshots or a trailer of Tales of Graces F soon! And a release date! I’m so eagerly awaiting this game! But then again I am a big fan of the Tales of games and I really liked the Japanese demo of TOGF.

And I would like to be able to get around playing the RPG’s I’ve missed on Xbox 360. Games like
Blue Dragon, Magna Carta II, Lost Odyssey and of course finish Tales of Vesperia. Ughh… But we’ll see what happens, I’ve been thinking of getting a new Xbox 360 for some time now. With all other games coming out this year that I want I would hardly have the time to play everything, I’m having problems just finding the time right now. So it would be stupid to add to that. But I wanna…

Six minutes of Tales of Xillia

Here is a six minute long trailer from Tales of Xillia. I’m really hoping Namco Bandai will release this game here in the west also. I’ll do my part by buying Tales of Graces F and Tales of the Abysss for 3DS even though I don’t have a 3DS, but I want to see more Tales of games released in English. And I’ll support the Tales of series by buying the upcoming games. You should too if you like the series, give it a try otherwise.

Infamous 2 cleared!

I finished Infamous 2 earlier today, well at least the good side. It was pretty okay, but I thought the ending for the good side where kinda meh. I was hoping for a little more, still good thou. I liked the game and I think I like it more than the first one, they got rid of some of the things I didn’t like with the first one.
Now I’m gonna restart the game and play on the evil side, get the last of the stuff I need and get that platinum trophy for the game. Oh yeah!

Hehe, as you can see. There are more videogame parodies in this game. Together with my earlier post, this is what I found.

Infamous 2 VG parodies

While playing around in Infamous 2 today I saw something I thought was very funny. I was passing by a cinema and here is what they where showing in that cinema. I love stuff like this!

Sony’s E3 2011

Just finished watching Sony’s E3 conferance. And I’m tired as hell now. I’m not used to be up this late. But either way it was pretty okay, was hoping for more stuff actually. But Uncharted 3 and Sly Cooper Thieves in Time where nice! And I got more interested in the Playstation Vita, their new portble console.
I’m also getting the God of War Origins Collection. All in all a pretty goof show, its gonna be interesting to watch Nintendos show later today.
But damn! I really need to start saving for a PSVita! I really need to play Uncharted Golden Abyss.

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection

Earlier today Konami revealed the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for both Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. This collection will feature reworked games such as, MGS2 Sons of Liberty, MGS3 Snake Eater and MGS Peace Walker. A shame the first one isn’t included, but me getting HD version of MGS3 is more than enough.

All the games in this collection will have trophies/achievements. And this collection will be released in November this year. Remember, “Take care of the box and the box will take care of you.”

Ar Tonelico Qoga cleared!

Since Playstation Network came back and I could sync my PS3 slim with my PSN account, I’ve been playing Ar Tonelico Qoga like a madman!! This is also my 50th Playstation 3 game I’ve finished. I’m glad a JRPG took that spot. So what can I say about the game? It has its ups and downs, and I think I’m fairly pleased with it.
Even if the older games are better, this was the best of the two Gust games I’ve played this generation, I feel much more satisfied with this game than I ever did with Atelier Rorona. It took me about 37 hours to complete and there is still a bunch of stuff to do. If I want to do all the extra stuff that is, but I’m gonna save that for some other time.

Well, I’m heading off to bed now and when I wake up, I’m gonna give No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise a shot. Looking forward to see what I’ll be thinking of that. Now I’m gonna go dream of my wonderful Saki and be happy since I got her best ending in AT Qoga. Yay! (Saki is the one to the right)
