Snow way!?!

Yeah, you see what I did there. Funny, haha! Anyway, I really got myself a shocker when I left my apartment this morning… It had snows and quite a bit too, I can’t remember that there’s ever been snow in October before. Well not so near my birthday at least! So yeah, big surprise!

Its almost been two weeks since Kntheking and Seraphim was at my place, I thought it was a blast! I really enjoyed it, too bad it didn’t last longer. One of the best days I’ve had this year, yeah they really are easily counted. We didn’t do all that much, mostly talked about games. And it enjoyed it tremendously, beats the crap out of talking on msn! Hope it won’t take another year until we can met again and hopefully I can take a trip up to Stockholm.

And next Wednesday its time to grow one year older, yay! Actually looking forward to it a bit, well perhaps not the getting older part. But I’m gonna have a movie weekend and a small (very small!) party for me. I and hopefully two other friends are going to go watch Scott Pilgrim, we’ve been wanting to see it for sometime. Gonna be a bit exciting and see if anything special happens next week, I doubt it. But who knows?

Avatar & Xenosaga figures

Ahh!! Finally home after a weekend of fun and movies. Well two movies actually, as you can see in my previous post me and my friend ZX-Omega went to see
Iron Man 2. And I stayed at his place over the weekend, fist time in while I’ve actually had the time and energy to do something fun. I’ve been so tired after working, so it was fun to spend some time with friends. But its pretty nice to chill back home also.

We watched Avatar yesterday, ya know the movie about those blue thingamajigs.
I wasn’t to interested in this movie, never was. But now that I have seen it I think it was a pretty okay movie, much better than I thought it would be. But I still can’t see why some people hype this as the best thing that has ever been made.
Really, I can’t see why, but hey… I guess that’s just me. An enjoyable movie nonetheless, but no masterpiece for me at least. Pandora was at least a very beautiful planet and the environments where incredible good.

Tomorrow its back to work, can’t say I’m looking forward to it all that much. I would have needed one more day to rest up. I fell yesterday when we where, going to the cinema. I fell in the stairs and landed on my left shoulder, that I already had a bit of a pain in… So it didn’t make things better, hope it gets better otherwise I’ll have to contact a doctor. And speaking of doctors, on Tuesday I’m finally going to the skin-clinic and hope I get some help with my “psoriasis“.
You can a picture of it here, you are warned it ain’t pretty. You have been warned.

Oh and Thanks ZX-Omega who got me this figures for a very cheap price! My Xenosaga Collection keeps growing. These are the Xenosaga Motion Revive figures of T-elos and KOS-MOS. Will probably never be removed from their boxes!

Iron Man 2 & The weekend

So me and my buddy ZX-Omega went to see Iron Man 2 yesterday, we where pretty excited about the movie. And it lived up to my expectations at least, it was a great movie. Sure it had some parts that they probably could have skipped or made better, but I never felt that the movie was boring to watch. I also like all the hints in the movie for upcoming Marvel movies, I’m not going to spoil anything.
So if you liked the first movie, I think you really are going to enjoy this one too.
Guess next movie I’ll see on cinema will be the new Friday The 13th movie, I’m going to see it with Elden.

Today we’ve been pretty slow, we are just waiting to get some pizza. Yay, kebab-pizza with garlic sauce! Yum. As I’m writing this ZX-Omega has fallen asleep, guess he didn’t enjoy to wake up early today. Well can’t blame him really. Guess he need his rest, we are going to watch Avatar later. Never seen it, just heard a bunch of stuff about it.
I’m looking forward to see what I think of the movie, my first guess is that I won’t like it all that much. So I’ll write back later after I’ve seen it to see If my gut feeling is right.
Yeah, not very excited about this movie, but I give every movie one chance at least.

Heh, he had also ordered two things for me. I’m glad he did, they where so worth the 20SEK he made me pay for them. What are they? Well, I’d rather show you. So when I’m home tomorrow again, the first thing I’ll do is take a picture. This is really nothing special, but I’m happy. I also traded a new HDMI-cable with him, he needed a new since his old one was dying. And he gave me his Dead Space for PS3, well he said he was never going to play it and I probably will play it again. So we everybody got something that made us happy. It was his idea with the trade!
Well enough of the ramblings for now, I have to see if I can wake him up so we can go get something to eat. I’m so hungry right now and bored, I also want to watch Avatar.

What a goddamn surprise!

Yes, this post is about my Xbox 360 I bought last week. The one I payed my friend 100SEK for. I knew it was old, I knew It could crash and burn on me. And guess what? It fucking did! Yeah, seriously… I’m fucking cursed.
Again I knew this could be the case, but the CD-drive died on me and put a nice new scratch in my Tales of Vesperia CD. So I have to get that fixed and just wait till I can afford a new X360. This week has started great and I was really looking forward to play ToV some more, a lot more actually.

If there is something to be happy about it that I’m going to meet with a skin specialist to take a look at my “Psoriasis” and finally I might get the right treatment I need. Don’t know when I will be called, but that things have started moving there is great at least.

Well this week has started so great, hopefully it will be better… A meeting with the bosses tomorrow, get to hear what they think of me and the work I’ve done. Hope its good news, I can’t take more bad stuff right now. Feels like my head is about to blow.
Wonder what I should play now? Guess I’ll have to wait until 3D Dot Game Heroes is released. At least I’m going to see Iron Man 2 on Friday with ZX-Omega, he took pity on me an treated me to the movie. So I have that to look forward to.

How I love rain & free time

Ah! The weather is really nice here today! Its raining! How I’ve missed rain, I sure hope we don’t get more goddamn snow here now. So sick and tired of that shit.
But rain, I really do love rain. It makes me feel good and relaxed. And its so nice and fresh outside. It was along time ago I’ve felt this good.

So I went for another meeting at ***** yesterday and the guy there went through some more rules and stuff. Nothing I can talk about since I had to sign a confidentiality paper. So I can’t talk shit about what I do, I don’t think I can even say if I have a good or bad time there. I just need to shut up about those parts, sadly.
One more meeting on Monday and after that I guess its time to start with some sort of work there, don’t know yet. But we got today off. And that’s pretty nice, especially when I’m not used to being up very early in the morning.

I’m also going to watch my first blu-ray movie later tonight. I will be watching
Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete. Now try saying that five times fast!! Looking forward to it, I haven’t seen that movie in a while and the blu-ray version contains 20-26 minutes of new material. Some hate this movie, but I like it quite a bit. Pretty funny since I’m not to fond of Final Fantasy VII. Too bad they didn’t add
FFVII: Last Order into this blu-ray also. Would love to have that as well. But it seems Square Enix cut that from the story when they released FFVII: Crisis Core.

And I might go to my friend Elden’s place this weekend, not sure yet. If not there will be a lot more FFXIII played. Wish I could get my hands on an Xbox 360 so I could play Tales of Vesperia. I’m really looking forward to play it!

The weekend before Final Fantasy XIII

And so another week is almost over. And next week its time for the long awaited
Final Fantasy XIII to arrive in both America & Europe. Its been out in Japan since December 2009, so we haven’t had to wait that long this time. A lot of people have been turned of by the game and it seems like reviewers are very split in their opinions.
But what do you think? I still hope and think it will be  a very enjoyable game, but we’ll see what I think after I’ve played it a bit.

I’m thinking of taking a break from gaming until I have a chance to play FFXIII and do some more movies, like in the good old days. I actually have some sort of inspiration going for me now. Would be a shame to waste it. I’m not sure what to do, but something with sprites would be nice, but I’m also thinking of doing a new version of my Xenosaga Rangers videos. Since I’m a bit better with photoshop now and with my video making program, why not give it a try?
I’m also thinking of a making a new video with pixels or something simpler. Not really sure yet, I want to do something.

So if I do a sprite movie or whatever I hope I can start writing a bit of the script for it. Wish I was a bit more talented so I could my own pixel figures, so what I did would be truly original. I have lots of ideas but I need to settle on one thing to do and not try to do everything at once. Well hope everything goes well, I’ll keep you updated on the site! I’ll gladly takes tips and other advise from people.

Great weekend!

I’ve spent the whole weekend with my friend Elden. It was a blast, I must say it was the most fun I’ve had in a while. We watched a bunch of movies and we’ve also had a retro trip. We played Duck Tales for the NES, man that was fun.
We played both games. And the first one is so much better, a bit more challenging compared to the second one. And it has much better music that the second game. I sure hope we can take on some other good games next time. We saw five movies over this weekend and here are my thoughts on the movies we watched, I’m not going to write much about them more on some than others.

Blade Runner
* I have never this movie before. My very first time and It was pretty good. I didn’t know what it was about or what to expect. But is was a good movie, I did however think it felt a bit long at times. But that’s about the only complaint I have. I do understand why it has become a classic and is liked by so many.

Couples Retreat
* A comedy with Vince Vaughn, not all that funny but it had its moments. Worth watching one time at least if you are bored. Kristin Bell was in it so it was something nice to look at at least.

Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow
* Great movie! With a nice comic book feel to it. I like the alternative 1950’s in the movie.

Planet Hulk
* People call Hulk monster, send Hulk into space. Hulk mad, smash ship. Crash on planet, becomes savior and king of people. Love the animation and I enjoyed it very much.

Justice League Crisis on Two Earths
* A new movie about Justice League, this time its about alternative dimensions and they meet an evil “Justive League”. A bit slowpaced at time, but a great great cartoon. James Woods as Owlman is so wonderful.

Daybreakers
* Most of the worlds population has turned into vampires and humans are nearly extinct. And blood is getting harder to find to the vampires are harvesting humans. It was an okay movie, Willem Dafoe was awesome!
