Be gone, ye foul sugar!
I’ve been trying my best to not take in as much sugar as I did before. While I still eat snacks from time to time, its not as bad as it used to be. Which I’m very happy about.
I haven’t had any coca cola for 56 days either, that’s where most of my sugar intake came from. And as I said, I’ve been eating less snacks and candy. which is also a very good improvement on my part, and as soon as the weather gets better its time to go out and run a bit. Build up my stamina and start training more. I really, really want to get back into shape. Enough is enough! While I do drink some Fanta and Sprite from time to time, its much more controlled than before. Be gone, ye foul sugar!
It also seems like my friend Kntheking has gotten his Livejournal account hacked too. So if you have my old LJ account there, perhaps you should change your passwords. I don’t know it it has anything to do with it, but better safe than sorry. I’m not to concernd with my old account if I get it back or not, but it would be a shame for the friends I have who use it, to have theirs deleted. Well anyway I gave him a bit of my space so he could continue to make posts. You can find his new site here!
My friend Elden is also coming over this weekend I hope. We are going to watch a bunch of movies. Its gonna be a real blast. I’m really looking forward to it. We are gonna watch a classic that none of us have seen. Blade Runner. Yeah, we haven’t seen it so its about time! There will be more movies than that to watch, we just haven’t decided yet. But either way, good company over the weekend is great!

World’s greatest detective
No, I’m not talking about Batman. I’m talking about the other world’s greatest detective. You know, Sherlock Holmes. I saw that new Sherlock Holmes movie today with my parents. The one starring Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law.
I’ve never been a fan of Sherlock Holmes, in fact I’ve always thought he was a pretty boring character. Interesting story around him and such, but boring. That’s why I’m so glad about this movie. They have added some humor, not so its silly but in my opinion they make Holmes so much better. I think it really fits this version of Holmes.
The movie didn’t feel long even if it was 2hours, if the movie had been bad those 2hours would have been murderous…
The music in the movie was also great, but then again its made by Hans Zimmerman. His music is always good. so if you haven’t seen the movie then go do it! Its very good. Now I’m really looking forward to the next movie with Robert Downey Jr, which is my most awaited movie this year. Namely, Iron Man 2.

The newest Star Trek movie
I’m not a fan of Star Trek. Never have been and will probably never be, but I did enjoy the new movie. Not saying the older movies are bad, not at all. But they are just not something that has clicked for me. Can’t like everything now can we?
I have to admit I mostly wanted to watch this because of Zachary Quinto. I’ve liked him since I saw him in Heroes playing Sylar and he is cool as Spock.
I enjoyed that this was a new start, so a Star Trek noob like me could learn to know some of the characters better. Or at least to get a feeling of them. I have no idea if they are anything like this in the old movies. The movie had a good portion of action. And I thought it was well balanced with story.
The movie didn’t feel long either, I almost thought it felt a bit short. Even if its just a bit over two hours long. This is not going to turn me into a Star Trek fan, but I will watch if they make more new movies. And who knows, one day I might do a dive into past movies. All in all, it was a good movie. Which I can recommend.
I’m not 100% sure, but I’ll probably see Sherlock Holmes in the coming weekend. You know the one with Robert Downey Jr. My parents wanted to see it, so I’ll probably go with them to the cinemas. Nothing is certain, but if they go I’m coming with them. Can’t and won’t say no to a free cinema ticket.
Other movies I want to see this year is Iron Man 2, Legion, Clash of the Titans and Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief.

Happy new year!
We are here. The last day of 2009. Too think its already been nine years since we celebrated the new millennium. It feels weird. Time sure passed by quick.
Here is my list of what I’ve played and watched in 2009, both things I’ve loved and other games that has made me so disappointed with them that I never want to touch them again. I also started to use WordPress this year, having first moved from Livejournal, where I had been for about 3 years.
Then I moved to Blogger, which I ditched pretty fast for WordPress. Well enough chatting here is my list and happy new year to you all, see you 2010!!
BEST OF 2009
Games
I think I’ll have to say Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Batman Arkham Asylum. I really can’t pick between the two of them. I enjoyed them both very much.
Movies
Transformers Revenge of The Fallen, despite its flaws it was the movie I was looking forward most to this year. It was perhaps not the sequel I had hoped for, but still one of the most enjoyable movies I’ve watched this year.
Anime
I haven’t watched an anime I really fell for this year. I thought it was a bit thin.
But then again I haven’t had a chance to watch everything this year either.
Cartoons
I’ve watched a bunch of cartoons this year. I usually watch a lot of anime, but cartoons have won this year. With Transformers Animated, The Batman,
Avatar The Last Air bender, Batman The Animated Series, Justice League Unlimited and more. They where all awesome shows and no anime this year has been better than any of those shows.
TV-shows
This year I’ve watched the entire season 1-4 of How I Met Your Mother. And came to like the series very much. Barney is my favorite character in the show and I’m currently watching season 5. Best show this year!
Other
One of the best things this years is without a doubt, when I finally got to meet my dear friend Kntheking. Best experience of all time and one of my dearest memories.

WORST OF 2009
Games
My biggest disappointment this year was without a doubt Cross Edge. Another game I wisgh I hadn’t touched is Eat Lead: Return of Matt Hazard. I liked the humor, the rest of the game qas one big mess.
Movies
Good for me, since I can’t remember all the crappy movies I’ve watched this year.
Anime
I’ll have to say that Kämpfer, is the worst anime series that I’ve seen this year. Bouncy boobs, bad story. I don’t even know what more I could to say about it…
I think one of the reasons I’m so disappointed with this is that the series just ended without anything being solved in the series. I hate when that happens!
Cartoons
Loonatics Unleashed, it wasn’t that bad. But worse than the rest of the cartoons I watched this year. I guess its because I’m not a very big Loony Toons fan. And that all the characters was just copies of the old Loony Toons characters, it felt cheap…
TV-shows
Heroes! What the hell has happened? Season was was great IMO. The 2nd season was okay, the 3rd season started to go down the shitter and the 4th season is following along that line. Just let it die already.
Other
Its been one hell of a poor year. I honestly hope I’ll have some money 2010, or I’m going to get really depressed.

What I’ve been doing
Firstly I’ll start of with saying I’ve written two Swedish ones for RPGaiden. I would appreciate it if people could check them out. And perhaps drop a comment them on the site. The games I’ve reviewed are Cross Edge and Folklore.
And that’s not all! We’ve also opened our own forum! So head over there. ;)
For the last couple of days I’ve just been watching a bunch of movies. There has absolutely been nothing else to do. Which I hate! Things probably feel worse than before since I’m eagerly awaiting Monday. The day when I get my Playstation 3 back from repairs. Also same day I’ll pick up my preordered copy of Mini Ninjas.
First I’ll start of with playing Batman Arkham Asylum and then proceed with
Mini Ninjas, I’ll probably write a mini-review for both of them.
So until Monday, I’ll probably watch some more movies. I’ve seen District 9 and it was pretty good, I didn’t know much about the movie, just it was something with aliens. It turned out enjoyable, It could have been worse. I also saw G.I Joe some time ago. Don’t know what to say about it, it was a pretty okay action movie. I couldn’t help liking it. Even if there where some more things I was hoping for from it.
Like more screen time for Snake Eyes (the ninja in black). Are there anymore superhero like movies that I should watch?

Sett nya Harry Potter
Postade ett inlägg om detta tidigare idag, men av någon händelse försvann inlägget. Troligen har jag väl råkat radera det. Har arbetat en del med sidan idag, så har väl råkat göra det mitt i alla röra. Nåja, ingen större skada skedd.
Har idag sett den nya Harry Potter filmen. Hade inga större förväntingar på den, men den visade sig vara riktigt okej. Möjligen för att jag inte läst boken filmen är baserad på denna gången, vilket jag är glad över. Har istället kunnat fokusera på filmen istället för grejer som saknas. Skulle inte förvåna mig om det är en del.
Gillar verkligen det mörkare temat i filmen, blev dock lite besviken att en karaktär inte var med. Eller med var han ju, men inte riktigt så som jag ville. Säger inte mer om det, då jag vill inte spoila något. Ska se till att låna boken så jag kan läsa den också och även läsa sista boken, blev riktigt sugen på det efter att ha sett filmen. Jag är ingen Harry Potter fantast, men jag tycker böckerna är rätt bra. Bland det bästa jag läst i alla fall och jag gillar verkligen tredje boken.
Allt som allt var det som jag tidigare sa en rätt okej film, blev bjöden på den så jag har inte lagt några egna pengar. Mitt ändå klagomål är att ibland kändes det som inget hände alls i filmen. Troligen känner jag det så, för att filmen var så lång. Men det är nog det enda jag personligen kan klaga på, blir kanske ett nytt inlägg om det hela efter att ha läst boken.
