Highlight of 2013

2013 was a good year for me, sure I still have problems with my depressions and anxiety. Some of those aspects actually got worse over the year, which is sad since I had hoped to get some control over them. Easier said than done, I might tell you. Either way, here are some of the highlights I liked from 2013. They will all be posts from my site, I might add a separate list for other stuff later.

That’s all I can think of now, there might be more. But then again I don’t live a very exciting life, but I like what I do. And I’m just happy people want to read about it, even if I’m writing for myself. Still it makes me happy that people take the time. You are very appreciated dear reader! =)

Kingdom Hearts makes #30!!

Let me explain that a bit better for ya. Yesterday, I had finished 29 games under the entire 2013. My goal was to at least clear 30 games before this year was over and it was looking grim. But then yesterday I started playing Kingdom Hearts Final Mix HD for PlayStation 3 and I’ve went through the entire game, not skipping any story stuff and finished it right now!
It feels so good that the goal of beating 30 games under 2013 could be reached, this doesn’t mean shit you probably. But I’m very happy that I was able to achieve it, the way I’ve been working this I thought I wouldn’t be able to do it.

Next year will be filled with great games, new as old. Ironically those games I’m looking forward to most are all remasters. There is Tales of Symphonia Chronicles, which contain both the first and second Tales of Symphonia game. Then there is Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD remaster, looking forward to playing those games with some improved visuals. Even if its not much, its still nice that the people who missed out on them can get a new chance to play them. Then there is Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD ReMIX, which includes Kingdom Hearts 2 and Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, really, really want to play BBS.
From the guys that brought us Nier (awesome game) there is Drakengard 3. All the games I’ve mentioned now are for PlayStstion 3, so its still going strong even in 2014. My most hyped PlayStation 4 game for next year is Infamous: Second Son, it looks fantastic!

Well I could go on forever talking about games, but now I’m just going to relax and enjoy the last half hour of 2013. Take care all visitors and I hope you’ll have a great start next year, happy new year everyone!! See you in 2014!

2013 is almost over

And here we are, just a little more than a day away from a new year. Damn, this year went by really fast and so much has happened. Thankfully not so many bad things this year, for once it has been a pretty decent year actually. So I’m glad about that. I was able to get the PlayStation 4 so that made me really happy too, I’ve finished 29 games this year. Might not seem like a lot, but since I’ve been so busy so it wasn’t more. But I’ve enjoyed all these game tremendously, they’ve all been worth my time. Well almost all of them.

I’m really looking forward to what games 2014 will bring, hopefully it will be a great gaming year. I’m not going to do a game of the year thing this year. I’ve played so many good titles that I have a hard time choosing one that was better than all the rest, that’s really hard. So it’s better too not do it, but if I just should pick two games that have been incredible this year I’ll go with Tales of Xillia and The Last of Us. Tales of Xillia lived up to all I wanted it to be and was a great adventure, while TLOF was a big surprise! I didn’t think I’d like it as much as I did.

I won’t be celebrating new years with anyone this year, I just wish to be alone. Take it easy, new years is nothing special to me. I can do without the fireworks and all the drunkards. So I’ll probably watch a movie or continue to play Kingdom Hearts Final Mix HD as I am right now. I really want to finish that game before Kingdom Hearts 2.5 HD ReMIX is out, I want to finish it now so I can concentrate on other games too. Plus I’m secretly hoping I can finish the game before tomorrow midnight so I can have 30 games cleared. =)
If I don’t post anything tomorrow I wish you all a happy new year!

Merry Christmas everyone!

I don’t celibate Christmas anymore, I haven’t done that in a long long time. Still I decided too go my friend ZX-Omega and his family. And it was pleasant, even if a bit frightening since there where people there I didn’t know and that was hard. Still I had a good time and I thank them all. And a great big thank you for the gift, thank you!

I also want to give a shout out to my friend Lania who gave me some Christmas game money as a gift. I really appreciate that, thank you kindly. ^^ I’ll see what I’ll spend them on, must be something good. =)

I’ve taken a break from Assassin’s Creed IV, I haven’t played or started my PS4 in over a week. Well I don’t feel like AC4 right now and I have nothing else to play on the PS4 at the moment. Still don’t regret buying it since I got it dirt cheap, but I am really looking forward to Infamous: Second Son. So for now I’ll probably be playing Tales of The Abyss 3DS, I traded in some old games and got myself a 3DS XL as a Christmas present. And I am thinking about taking up Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMIX again too. KH feels right this time of year, even if it feels nothing like Christmas this year.

Merry Christmas to you all!! Thank you for reading and the support of my site! =)

Getting some stuff back

In the past when I bought games, I usually sold them when I was done. I actually had to do that many times to be able to afford new games. It’s the sad, harsh truth. But things are a bit better now, still don’t have a lot of cash, but I’m not in the same situation as back then. So that’s why I am trying to rebuy and get some older games I’ve never had, the first game to be rebought is Tales of Legendia for the PlayStation 2. I wasn’t a big fan of the game, but I still wish I had never sold it like so many other games… But soon I will will be in my possession again, I need it for my Tales of game collection too. =)
Next game will be the PS2 version of Tales of The Abyss, I had it before and yeah had to sell. I do own the 3DS version of the game, but I want the PS2 version. I will never sell games again, unless they are bad! I really want the classics back, some of them are going to be expensive.. And then I just need to get a PS2 that can play imported games and I can get ready again.

I would like to get a hold of the PlayStation 1 versions of Tales of Destiny and Tales of Eternia (a.k.a Tales of Destiny II in the US).
Then I would like to get a hold of both of the Lunar games, they are both fantastic games. I would like to get my hands on Ar Tonelico 2, perhaps not the best of games. But I enjoyed the first one despite all of it’s innuendos, still probably better than Ar Tonelico Qoga.
There are a whole bunch of games that I want and I’ll try making a list one day, it will be good for me too so I know what to cross off. I think some of the most expensive games to get are Wild Arms 5, I’ve never seen that game for a decent price. As most might have guessed now I want a bunch of JRPGs, I miss some of the old ones and the new ones with the exception of the Tales of games have not been as good IMO. So if the new stuff don’t give me what I want, I’ll just have to take a dive into the past.

Yaar, mates! I be playing a pirate!

So I’ve just started playing Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag on PlayStation 4, way to early too actually say something about the game. But I will still say I’ve enjoyed what I’ve done so far, will play more of it under this weekend.

I’m also going to use the hashtag #YazPlay, when I tweet about games I’m playing from now on. Why? Well, why the hell not? I just think it’s great that I can have all playing right now tweets collected by a hashtag. People can follow that if they are interested to see what I’ve posted in game related stuff I am playing. Or you can avoid it, the choice it yours. I’ll be using that hashtag too, when I am posting screenshots from PS4 games. Just thought I should say that too, okay.

I also enjoy reading what people are searching for on my site and I’ve seen a couple of things that have made me laugh. But then there are some things that I really can’t put to words, like Knack Hentai or keroro fuck natsumi. Well, I laughed at those too. Yeah, yeah. =D

Oh and I got the Hatsune Miku Project Diva f game for the PS3! Hopefully it’s fun now. Yeah, I imported it since I don’t want to buy a digital version of a game if a physical copy exists. I enjoy Miku otherwise so I think and hope I’ll enjoy this too. Been looking for a good music game to entertain me since Gitaroo Man.

Some impression of the PlayStation 4

The first thing I did when I got the Playstation 4 earlier this morning was to take a few pictures and post on various sites I visit. I just wanted to show of my new sexy thing, after that I unpacked everything. Mmm! That new console smell. Hooked it up and it went smooth as hell, I am impressed at how fast everything went. It downloaded the update and installed it pretty fast, I liked that very much. The interface looks really good and it was so fast, it will take sometime to get used to it. But I think it will be really great. A friend of mine who skipped out completely on the PlayStation 3 was with me when I got my console and he was very impressed with the PS4. He enjoyed the controller much more than the though he would, so that was nice too hear. Even Hentai-Woody likes is!

As I posted a couple of days ago, the DualShock 4 is so damn good. I like the weight of the controller, the sticks are much tighter and gives more precision than those on the DualShock 3. And as I thought I love the feature that you can plug-in earphones/headsets and get all the games audio from the controller, perfect for those game sessions that takes place late at night and where I have to be quite in my apartment. Sure, this could have been fixed by buying a more expensive pair of headsets I presume, but that’s not something that was in my budget or something that I really want.

I only played Knack and Resogun, before I was to tired to even see. No, seriously I was starting to see fog around the eyes. I had to go to sleep! But I really enjoyed the short time I spent with Knack, going to give it a whirl later when I’ve gotten some more rest. I only slept for like 5hours and I feel I need some more. Resogun seemed more fun than I thought, I played long enough to clear a stage but it was pretty fun. Gotta try that more later. I don’t think I’ll be starting Assassin’s Creed 4 until I’ve finished Knack, but then again my friend Elden is coming over later today so who knows? We might take it for a spin, just to feel the ocean breeze.

So far I am really enjoy the PS4, I’m very pleased with what I’ve tried so far. Okay, Knack doesn’t have a very next-gen feel too it, but still. The only complaint so far is the lack of media capabilities, I hope that is something Sony fixes soon. I always used my PS3 to watch movies and TV-shows, I can still watch blu-rays on the PS4 but can’t watch anime shows that I’ve downloaded, since the PS4 can’t read the files. But it’s only the beginning of the PS4 life, I really hope they do add this later. And MP3-support for playing music ingame, it’s the feature I love and used most on the Xbox 360. So I really hope Sony will bring that one to the PS4 in a more complete manner than they did on the PS3.
