So what’s going on?

Yo! I Had a pretty good birthday. Well except for my idiotic computer died on me. -.-
Don’t know what’s wrong I’ll let my father handle that stuff.
So right now I just have a frankensteins monster computer, made of all kinda parts and looks crappy. And is very crappy to. But at least I can surf with it. Writing this post from my friends house, been staying there for some days now.

We’ve watched some movies, talked a hell of a lot and been outside a lot! Amazing! And we might have moved a bit in story progression on our fantasy series. More on that later perhaps.
Ya know that song I posted last time? (Post below this one.) I’ve been listening to that song the entire time. It really got stuck to my head.
But it has such a wonderful beat. I must say I love it.

I got some money for my birthday. And a movie from one of my friends.
Nacho Libre, starring Jack Black. (love that guy)
I had been wanting to see that movie for sometime, so I was pretty pleased to get it as a present. It was pretty good to. Not a masterpiece or anything. But just a good movie to watch.
We’ve watched a few other movies to, like I said. Like Disney’s Aladdin.
Still as good as the first time I saw it. And Jay & Silent Bob Strikes Back. A totally screwed up movie, but I like it. I like it a lot!

I also got to see some of Metroid Prime 3 under this week. I must say it looked better than I thought it would. I actually also got pretty interested in buying a Wii.
So I might be getting that later. Need the new Smash Bros game.
And Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles looks very good and Super Mario Galaxy. I might just try to get a Wii before a PS3, at least its cheaper than a PS3. And there are some Virtual console games I wanna play, like Paper Mario.

Well enough of my ramblings now. Gotta go back and keep my friend company. Or at least annoy the hell out of him! See ya!

I’ve been thinking about you…

Yeah… So I really hate it when you start to think about things. Something you want. Something you need. And you think about it so much that you build up a desire for that thing. Later you realize you can’t get that thing and you’ll turn depressed. Well I’m at the phase where I’m depressed.

So what is this thing that has gotten me so down? Playstation 3.
Oh, god I want one! With the new Ratchet & Clank coming out,
Eye of Judgment. And other games that are out. Like, Heavenly Sword, Folklore, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Warhawk and Skate (perhaps)…
Enchanted Arms & Sonic The Hedgehog. Yeah, both of these games are also on 360 and people say they suck, I don’t care! I want them.

And then we have upcoming games; White Knight Chronicles,
Metal Gear Solid 4, Final Fantasy XIII, FFXIII Versus, Haze (maybe), Resident Evil 5, The Last Remnant. And others I can’t remember now. *sigh* I know its lame to get depressed over something like, this. But it feels like its slowly killing me on the inside.

I have a hard time to get sleep, since I only think about the PS3 when I try to sleep.
Well at least I could let out some of this rambling… And I guess feel a bit better.
But it will comeback to haunt me… I know it. It has done it before… =/
Hopefully it will get better. And hopefully I will someday get enough cash too buy one..

Nightwish Rockin’ AMV & VG

Finally! I’ve completed my newest AMV. This time its a mixed video. Containing both anime and videogame scenes. (actually a good combo, if I say so myself)
I wanted to do this since I heard Nightwish newest song “Bye Bye Beautiful”.
And not getting the idea out of the head, I made the video. Just hope people will like it. Or at least that people will comment on it…

Lunar Silver Star Story Complete
One of the first RPG’s I tried and fell in love with. So its a very important game to me.
Without it I would probably never had started to play RPGs.

Brave Story played and finished

Thanks to my good friend KNtheking I was able to borrow Brave story. Sending it back to him later today. The game was very fun and pretty standar RPGish. Well you’ve seen most of the stuff in the game before, I can’t think of something right now that makes this game more uniqe. Well perhaps that would be that its a pretty good RPG for the PSP. Does that count?

The story was average, nothing speciall. But I still can’t helped to get sucked into the story. Guess I’m a sucker for that kind of story. No I won’t go into detail about the story.

A young boy who wants to save his “girlfriend” from an illness that would kill her, comes to a world named Vision. There he must meet the goddess of fate and have his wished fullfilled. That is the only thing that can save her. Of course one thing leads to another. And soon you’ll be on a bigger adventure than you first thought. Well at least the main plot of the game if not to save the world. The world is not even in danger. Well not much at least. So that is pretty fresh. The music is pretty okay in the game. Nothing I’ll go out and buy a soundtrack for.
Well either way it is a good game. A bit to easy. But then again I’ve played my fair share of RPGs so I don’t think they are very hard any more.

I guess the score for this game would be 6/10. Mostly because it was easy. But don’t think of this as a bad score. The game is very well worth buying. So If you own a PSP and want an RPG get this.

And to top things of with Brave Story I watched the Brave Story anime. Its main character in the movie is Wataru. He makes a breif cameo in the game BTW. And is mentioned a few times. The movie was good. For being an anime movie. I almost never like anime movies. Don’t know why. But this one was well worth watching.
But now I’m going back to play Metal Gear Ac!d.
Have to finish that game to. Take care everyone!

And now Daxter is finished!

So I’ve been playing Daxter like a madman. Its a great game.
Much better than I had expected. Not as good as the real Jak & Daxter games, but still very good. And you just gotta love Daxter. He is one cool dude.

The game suffers from some camera problem. Thats just about the thing that is negative about the game.
Thanks to the camera you are going to die some times at certain stages. If they had fixed that, the game would have been more or less perfect. Oh, okay. There are some slowdowns in the game. They are nothing to worry about, but they are very annoying.

The story is good. And lets you know what Daxter was up to between those two years that passed between the first and second game.
I like when they do games like this. Hope we can see a Daxter 2 in the future.
I’ll give Daxter a 7/10. It would have received an 8 from me if it wasn’t for the camera problem. But if you already haven’t played this game, I think you should.
Especially if you are a Jak & Daxter fan.
And now I think I’m going to start playing Metal Gear Ac!d. Take care everyone!

ToE, Daxter & a quiz

So I finished Tales of Eternia for the PSP last night. It was a great game.
I really love the Tales of series. Okay, I had hoped for a little more of the ending, but then again don’t we always want more?
Well I really enjoyed it and its the first PSP game I clear. I think I’ll give this game 7/10. There where some glitches in the game that ruined some of the better/more serious moments in the game. And that dissapointed me. But other than that is was a good game. A bit easy. But still worth buying.

The next game on the list is going to be Daxter. Yes, the orange lovable sidekick of Jak from the Jak & Daxter series. His solo game is much better than I expected actually. Haven’t played that much but, I’m going to play it to death tonight.
Daxter the bug exterminator at your service! And you gotta love Daxter ego dreams.
