Nu är det bara några dagar kvar tills ett av årets mest efterlängtade spel släpps, det måste ju vara fler än jag som taggar hårt inför detta släpp så jag tyckte en tråd var på sin plats.

I den här tråden diskuterar vi helt enkelt allt som rör spelet, spoilers skall markeras som sådana med dold text.

Denna tråd är ett samarbete mellan Ricdeau och Yazuka. Jag tog initiativet att starta tråden medan Yazuka stod för den eminenta designen och bilderna. <3

Asbel är den äldsta sonen av en härskare i staden Lahant, som ligger i Windor regionen. Glad och idealistisk pojke som älskar dagarna han spenderar med sina vänner. Men efter en incident i sin barndom, beslutar Asbel sig för att bli en riddare och skydda folket och de han älskar. På så vis går han med de kungliga riddarna. Sju år passerar och Asbel har blivit vuxen och har blivit en riddare, men det är nu saker och ting verkligen tar fart…

New Tales of game leaked!?

It seems like the E3 leaking has begone in earnest and it’s a damn shame, but then again I’m so excited right now and I just can’t hide it!
It has been very quite around the next mother ship Tales of title, but surly we have a name and a few pictures of it now. We welcome you Tales of Arise.

Tales of Arise seems to have a bigger budget than any other Tales of games.
And probably been in development for longer than the usually titles. They’ve put this one on Unreal 4 instead of making their own engine. I imagine that has helped a bit with the graphical upgrade. I’m so freaking hyped right now! E3 can’t start soon enough!

Well that was a lot. Now I’m eagerly awaiting the trailer, I really, really hope it doesn’t leak beforehand. I wish this hadn’t leaked either, would have been a fantastic and wonderful surprise. So yeah, I might be doing wrong in posting about this one right now, but I really can’t contain my excitement for this one.

Games I’m looking forward to in 2019: Part 1

I’m sorry, the original post was written in Swedish. So here is comes once again, but with some added stuff. Some of the stuff in the Swedish post has been released, another one has finally gotten a release date. So I thought it was about time to update it. And with E3 around the corner, I’m looking forward to see how many games I can add in an upcoming list. It’s the most wonderful time of the year.
 

I really enjoyed the first Trails of Cold Steel game, so naturally I need to have the second game. Not too far from releasing, really looking forward to this one.
Right now I’m saving myself from playing any JRPG’s just because I want to be JRPG rested and fresh for Cold Steel 2. The first one ended on such a cliffhanger so I really want to know what happens!
 

I’ve had this game on just about every list of games I’m looking forward to, in the last 3-4 years. But now it’s coming to an end! The game finally has a release date and it’s coming very soon! For PS4, Xbox One and PC it will be released on June 21 and it will be released a week later on Switch. I’ve been waiting so long for this game, I’ve always had faith in it. Let’s hope that faith is rewarded. The next post I make with Bloodstained will probably when I either get my copy or my Kickstarter copy of the game.
 

This is also a title that has been featured in a few other game’s I’m looking forward to lists. I am not a fan of Minecraft but I really enjoyed Dragon Quest Builders, so when they announced the sequel I was ecstatic. Especially when there are so many improvements in the game, I’m gonna have a really good time on this game. And since I’m getting the Switch version I’ll be able to play this game together with my friends in the same room! Couch co-op is the best! The PS4 version will only have multiplayer online, while Switch will have local multiplayer.
 

I’ve never played the older Ultimate Alliance games, but I’m ready to give this one a try! I need to have more of my Marvel fill, so I’m hoping this will be good.
I’m not particularly hyped for it and I could have waited for it, but yeah this will probably be my chance game of the year. So far at least.
 

Not really a big fan of SRPG’s, but I’d like to give Fire Emblem a real chance. So why not try this one? If I don’t like it I can always sell it again, but I think it looks at least a bit interesting. At least enough to give it a try.
 

Probably the biggest surprise for me so far this year! When we where first shown the trailer, I got butterflies in my stomach. The art style, scenery and the feeling about everything… I and many others thought it was a Xenoblade sequel.
But it turned out to be PlatinumGames new and exclusive Nintendo Switch game, which was still a great surprise. PlatinumGames are great with action games, so I think it will be fantastic. Really looking forward to this one!
 

Saw a trailer for this game some time ago and it looked pretty neat. It’s an action RPG, that takes place in Taipei apparently. I liked what I saw of the trailer, it was recently announced to be released in both Europe and US both physically and digitally.
I don’t really know what more to say about this game, go check out the trailer for yourselves. The game will be released on both Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in the west.
 

Well that’s it for this time! Will probably make a new list after E3 is over, when we hopefully have some more dates on a couple of games.
And hopefully some surprise announcements.

Project Prelude Rune has been canceled

My fears have come true. When it was announced that Hideo Baba had left Square Enix I feared the worst for Studio Istolia and their game “Project Prelude Rune“.
And today the death sentence finally came. Square Enix has confirmed via USgamer.

“Following evaluation of various aspects of Project Prelude Rune, development of the title has been canceled,” a Square Enix representative said. “Studio Istolia is no longer in operation and we have been taking appropriate steps to assign studio staff to other projects within the Square Enix Group.”

So I’m really bummed out now, like seriously. Was so looking forward to a Hideo Baba game that wasn’t a Tales of game and a game he might have gotten a bigger budget for. But sadly dreams do end, I’m just a bit surprised at how hard this affected me.
Sure we just got a teaser trailer for the game, but if what we saw was the kind of style the game would have it was full of color and beautifully cellshaded.

New trailer for Final Fantasy VII remake

I’m a few days late with these news, but about three days ago Square Enix released a new trailer from their upcoming Final Fantasy VII remake. It’s no secret that I am not a big Final Fantasy VII fan, but this remake has has really hyped for the game.
Much more than the original game ever hyped me. Check out the trailer for yourselves!

I think it looks really good! I’m I am very eager to try this game, for me personally I have nothing against this being more of an Action RPG than a turn based one.
If it’s just as fluid and fun as it is in Kingdom Hearts III, I know that at least I am going to have a very good time with the battles. I’m really digging Aerith’s design, she looks really, really good. Even Cloud looks better than he did in the 2015 reveal.
Sure I’ll miss his banana hair buy what can you do? I know some people really liked his more sickly design, but it didn’t really resonate with me.

Square Enix is going to share more news with us in June when E3 is, I really hope they’ll show more of the characters. I am a bit eager to see Tifa, mostly due to me thinking she’ll get a bit of a redesign… Since I don’t think her original will work with today’s climate on the internet regarding certain designs.
It does feel a bit weird to be hyped about FF7, I wonder if this is what people felt like when they waited for the original to be released.

My biggest hope is that we’ll get some parts that are playable with Zack in this remake, since there seems to be no plans to make a Crisis Core HD. Doesn’t really seem to fit in with the whole way FF7 is going, but then again… If that erases Genesis from FF7 lore that might not be such a bad thing. So tell me. Are you looking forward to this remake?
Why? And why not? I’d love to hear your opinion on it.

Bloodstained finally has a date!

At long last Koji Igarashi and the team behind Bloodstained has revealed the release date of the game! And thankfully we will not have to wait all that long!

After god knows how long we will be able to play this game. I’ve waited so long for this, it has been on my lists for upcoming games I’m looking forward to many times now.
The game will be released on June 18th. But the Nintendo Switch version will be release a little bit later, on June 25th. So not all that long.

So enjoy the trailer and see how much they have improved the game. I think it looks really good, but then again I’m one of those who never had problems with how the game looked like from the start. But I do appreciate that it looks prettier now.

I’ll be taking my chance with the Switch version. I pledge $60 on Kickstarter to get the PlayStation 4 version physically, but I think I’m gonna leave that one unopened. Plus I ordered Bloodstained: Curse of The Moon for Switch from Limited Run Games, would be nice to have both physically for Switch.

Äntligen lite nya grejer!

Nu var det ett tag sedan jag postade något, men jag har inte haft så mycket att säga heller. Som vanligt har man jobbat och jobbat. Varit lite sjukt emellan också, men mest jobbat och varit trött. Har hunnit få lite spelat åtminstone och det är ju alltid trevligt.

Mina Xenogears-figurer har äntligen kommit! De kom faktiskt i början av månaden och jag postade om det på min Instagram. Där hänger jag en del när jag inte posta här.

Var även på Sci-Fi Mässan i Malmö detta året, det var väl lagom kul. Kände mig mest lite besviken eller så är jag trött på mässan i Malmö, vill till en större mässa! Typ den som är i Göteborg eller Stockholm hade varit kul. Lite roligt var dock att min farsa hängde med på mässan i Malmö, första gången han var med på något sådant.
Fick tack på original versionen av The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening till GameBoy.

Blev så förvånad med just Trails of Cold Steel att det faktiskt följde med en manual! Knappt så man minns sist man fick ett spel med manual. Bortsett från limited editions och sådant, så tror jag sist man fick med en manual i ett spel var Shovel Knights fysiska utgåva.

Det var lite av de grejerna jag hade att visa denna gången. Blir ju en del när man inte uppdaterar så ofta längre. Men det blir alltid något. Var tanken jag skulle haft med en grej till i detta inlägget, men tycker detta redan blev så stort med alla bilder att det får bli ett helt eget inlägg. Kommer posta det i veckan, vem vet? Kanske redan imorgon.
