A look inside PlayStation 5

So a few a days ago Sony released a teardown video of the PlayStation 5.
That means we got to see what the insides of the PS5 looks like and what makes it tick.

I love seeing how stuff like this works, it doesn’t what console of kind of technology.
I find it interesting. But it’s nice to get a confirmation on the white panels are indeed removable, so I wonder how long we’ll have to wait until Sony or someone else makes custome plates. I can haz black plates plz?

We also have some more news on the PlayStation 4 backward compatibility.
As it seems right now, Sony has confirmed that 10 PS4 titles will not be playable on the PS5. This does not mean every title will work right now, but at least it seems like a whole lot of games will work and problably more will work with future updates.

PlayStation 5 will be mine!

Now that we’ve finally had the announcment we where waiting for, the price and release date of the PlayStation 5, I though I’d post my thoughts and such about it.
Of course I’ve preordered and I really, really hope I get one on release day.
Please note that all release dates I’ve posted here are for the European market.
 

You’ve probably already heard when it’s releasing. But for us Europeans it will be released on November 19th, it’s best to check the prices where you live.
Here in Sweden it seems like the Digital Edition will go for 4990SEK and the one with a physical disc drive will sell for 5999SEK.

I have preordered the one that can play physical media, with game prices being higher this new coming generation, I want the ability to sell/trade games. I also want to be able to play my physical PlayStation 4 collection on PS5.
And not to mention UHD Blu-ray movies. Would love to have gotten the headset too, but that will have to come later.
 

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
RELEASE: 2020-11-19 Europe

I’m a big fan of Marvel’s Spider-Man, it quickly became one of my favorite comicbook inspired videogame. But then again, Spider-Man has always been a favorite hero. Either way, when they announced Miles Morales as a sequel I was really happy.
I think this is the first time we can play as a Spider-Man that isn’t Peter Parker.
I could be very wrong about this so don’t lynch me. Gameplay looks good and fluid, can’t wait to swing around Brooklyn with Miles. Will be a release title.
 

Demon’s Souls
RELEASE: 2020-11-19 Europe

First and formost. I am not a fan of Souls games. I’ve tried a few but they have never clicked with me. I did however promise myself to give Demon’s Souls a chance if they did remake it. And yeah, well here I am. Not sure if I’m buying it at release, since next gen games are pretty expensive in Sweden. This will cost 799SEK and right now I will focus on Spider-Man which seems like more of a game for me. But I most say, this one looks really great and it really has me hyped to try it out.
 

Final Fantasy XVI
RELEASE: In the future…

There had been rumblings before the show that we would see the reveal of Final Fantasy XVI, but I didn’t really believe it. So this was a plesant surprise!
I’m really eager to learn more about this game, but for now I think it looks great!
I have been hoping the next one would have more of a fantasy setting, so I’m set so far!
No other info than we’ll see more under 2021 so far.
 

Immortals Fenyx Rising
RELEASE: 2020-12-03 Europe

I much prefered the title Gods & Monsters, but what can you do? I’m very eager to play this one, it looks like a Zelda game with Greek mythology.
I don’t have that much to say about that game, it will be my “Take a chance on it game” for the year. Either it will be good or it’ll be shit. So far I like what I have seen.
 

There are of course a bunch of other games releasing and coming to PlayStation 5 in the future. Right now I have only listed the games I’m interested in, there will be more lists like this in the future. For now these games will have to do. Are you getting a PlayStation 5 at launch? Scott Pilgrim is back!

I’m so freaking happy right now. The Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game is going to be rereleased! With the nifty title Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game Complete Edition. It will include the two DLC characters Knives and Wallace.

I do speak very highly of this game and a bit like a rabbid fanboy, this game isn’t a masterpiece, there are games out there that are better. But I just enjoyed this game so freaking much. To Paul Robertsons fantastic spritework to Anamanaguchi wonderfull music. I’m just happy I can play this on another format than my PlayStation 3.

So it will be released sometime this holiday, I’m still keeping my fingerscrossed that Ubisoft will release a physical edition this time. I’m gonna buy it for both PlayStation 4 and Switch. Yes, I’m crazy. But I’ve begged for this game to get a port for what seems like ages, time to put my money where my mouth is.

RPGspelaren filmer!

Som ni kanske vet så hade jag ett litet projekt för ett tag sedan, jag kallade detta RPGspelaren där jag snackade lite om Japanska rollspel och allt möjligt.
Det blev aldrig mer än 6 videos innan livet ville andra saker, men jag ska återvända till detta projektet. Jag tycker det är extremt kul att få snacka om saker jag tycker om och jag brinner ju för spel och JRPG.

Just nu arbetar jag lite på hur det skulle kunna se ut när det väl kommer tillbaka. Jag har laddat upp alla de videos jag gjorde på min egna privata YouTube-kanal och där kommer de att läggas upp i fortsättningen. Om allt går som jag vill så mycket möjligt finns det en video uppe i början av augusti, det kan hända det kommer något tidigare, men då är det för jag hittade något annat att diskutera än det jag har i tankarna nu.

Men just nu funderar jag som sagt på hur jag ska lägga upp kommande filmer och hur jag vill de ska ut. Skulle ju vilja ha ett nytt intro som är mer passande än det som är nu, men det är svårt att komma på något. Får väl skissa runt lite på det också.

Se min spelsamling!

Då var det äntligen dags att ta tag i att lägga upp spelsamlingen här! Jag har ju min lista på vad jag äger, som ni finner under Gaming-länken.
Men jag tyckte det var dags att ta lite bilder och slänga upp också! Det är ju alltid roligare att se saker och ting än att bara läsa om det. Så från och med idag så finns fliken Min spelsamling under Gaming-länken.

Eller så trycker ni på den länken jag precis skapade ovanför.
Funderar fortfarande på hur hela delen ska vara utformad, men det är ju som sagt något att utgå ifrån så länge. Men har ni tips och idéer på hur man kan göra det bättre så tar jag gärna emot de tipsen. :)

 

Gör inte så här mot mig!

Gjorde ju ett inlägg igår där jag så snällt bad om att få lite nyheter om Tales of Arise. Det är ett av de spelen jag har sett fram emot under ett långt tag, men så fick vi äntligen nyheter idag. Jävla nyheter.

Tales of Arise försenas! Det kommer inte släppas 2020 längre, inget nytt datum eller annan info fick vi heller. Nu känner man sig så där ledsen igen, men visst finns mycket annat gott i år med next-gen runt hörnet… Men ändå…

Vi fick i alla fall en ny snygg artwork! Hade ju hoppats de kunde visat oss den tredje spelbarakaraktären åtminstone. Nä, nu ska jag gå och vara ledsen på annat håll istället.

Kommande spel 03: Blandat current-gen

Så efter att har varit och sniffat lite på next-gen i förra inlägget så går vi tillbaka till current gen och se vad mer som erbjuds där. Är väl dessvärre några spel här också som inte har ett fast datum just nu, men det får duga!

Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2

Utannonserade igår! Trodde nog inte att det skulle få en uppföljare, men blev positivt överraskad. Det första spelet var bra, men jag hade hellre sett ett Metroidvania som Bloodstained: Ritual of the Nigh, men med denna grafiska stilen.
Finns väl inte så mycket mer att säga egentligen. Eller jo. Det finns en karaktär som heter Hatchi. Det är en corgi. Han har en fucking powersuit. Så ondskans makter, ger ni upp direkt eller ska han behöver begrava det som blir kvar av er!?
 

Ys IX: Monstrum Nox
RELEASE: 2020-07-17 —- FORMAT: PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Steam

Etfer Ys VIII blev jag ännu mer sugen på Ys-serien, framför allt älskar jag musiken de har i serien.Fick faktiskt hem Ys Memories of Celceta till PlayStation 4 så sent som i tisdags, samma dag som detta utannonserades! En tillfällighet?!
Tack vare NIS Americs så får även Switch och PC-spelare ta del av spelet och det är ju inte fel att det når ut till en större publik. Ser fram emot och längtar att få höra all awesome musik i spelet.
 

Oneechanbara Origin
RELEASE: 2020-??-?? —- FORMAT: PlayStation 4

Zombies, tjejer och bikinis. Behöver man mer egentligen? Fast så får man väl inte säga.
Detta ska vara en remake av det första Oneechanbara-spelet som släpptes, jag har bara spelat Oneechanbara Z2 och det var förvånansvärt skoj! Så jag ser väldigt mycket fram emot detta om det blir ett lika trevligt hack ‘n slash.
Det ska få en asiatisk utgåva under sommaren, men exakt när det är kan man ju bara gissa på… Spelet kommer då innehålla engelsk text och tal för den delen.

 

Bravely Default II
RELEASE: 2020-??-?? —- FORMAT: Nintendo Switch

.Spelade bara en del av första Bravely Default ouch rörde aldrig uppföljaren Bravely Second. Men nu kommer nästa del och det är till Switch, Bravely Default II. Um… Vänta? Det är en hel ny del i serien och ska inte ha något med den andra två att göra, tänk på denna titel mer som titlarna till Final Fantasy funkar. Det finns en del på eshoppen om man vill testa, jag håller ut tills hela spelet släpps.
 

Tales of Arise

Var gömmer ni detta spelet Bandai Namco!? Det är ju typ ett år sedan vi fick se något sist! Snälla Bandai Namco, ge oss något nytt nu!! :(
