The Bat Rises
[ If you have any intention of watching the Dark Knight Rises, you should keep away from this post. I’ll be talking pretty openly about the movie and spoilers. You have been warned, this will contain spoilers! ]
So I saw this movie when it had it’s premier. The Dark Knight Rises, a movie I wasn’t particular hyped about. I’ve found the trailers they’ve shown to be boring as hell and while The Dark Knight was a good movie I never thought it was super great. Like so many others out there seem to think, I enjoyed Batman Begins a whole lot more and Christian Bale didn’t use such a gruff voice.
So I must say I am pleasantly surprised with this movie, it was better than I thought it would be. I liked the build up of the movie, the story felt pretty good. And I was a bit shocked that they made it take place eight years after Harvey Dent’s death. I didn’t think they would go for such a timeskip, usually it’s just two years or so or the exact amount of time that has passed between the sequel and the original.
But one of the best parts about the movie ha to be the ending, more spoilers yo! I loved the whole part where Blake went to pick up a bag and the lady there says he has a beautiful name he should use, Robin. I bursted out with a big HA! At the moment, I loved it! And that he will probably become Batman’s replacement. Will they do something with this? More Batman movies? Or will they perhaps try to swing it to Nightwing? Either way now I want to know if they are doing more with that or if its the biggest damn tease ever!
How could you NOT mention Bane dood?! Bane?! the voice?! OMG

Hehe, I kinda forgot him. But I’m not a big fan of Bane. Never have been and probably never will be. And his voice was way to gruff for my taste, I had a hard time hearing what he said sometimes.
