Xenoblade and Smash Bros

I have finally started playing Xenoblade Chronicles, I wonder how long I have waited to do that? And it feels great to have started, I love most Monolith Softwares games well at least the ones with Xeno in the title and I really had to play this one too. Since I’ve heard so many good things about it, even from people who normally don’t play JRPG’s. I’m not very far into the game, since I’ve lost myself in doing errands and checking out the huge world and I’m betting I’ve seen nothing yet. There are huge plains and fields in this game and the game really gives you a great feeling of traveling long was. This is both good and bad, since it takes a while to get too places. But once you’ve unlocked a place you can fast travel there.
The music so far is awesome! I especially like the track ”You Will Know Our Names” it’s so good! Especially around the the 1minute mark, good god! My ears are in heaven! I love music like this! Ahh!! Going to play a bit more in just a bit, need to play what I can since I start working again this Thursday.

Today there was also an announcement about some new characters joining the new Super Smash Bros game. Which got me really excited since there was a rumor and a ”leak” that Shulk from Xenoblade Chronicles would join the cast. We still don’t know if this is true or not, but we got two new Fire Emblem characters and a reveal that Captain Falcon is returning. We got Luciana and Robin (both male and female) as new players and Chrom seems to be Robin’s final smash.

E3 2014: Nintendo

Nintendo’s E3 digital direct is over and a shame it was a short one, I enjoyed some parts of it tremedosly. Like their beginning with Reggie and Iwata fighting it out in cool Smash Bros style! Nintendo who can joke and do stuff like this is best Nintendo, I got very excited. So now its time to save up more money and get a Nintendo Wii U. Here are some of the games I enjoyed mostly from Nintendo, in no specific order. But these are some of my favorites, I can’t post them all. But I can post them that spoke most too me.

(mer…)

Monolith Softwares new game

So I was watching the new Nintendo Direct today, I had totally forgotten it was today. So I saw it by chance and boy I’m glad I did! There where quite a few tidbits that interested me in Wii U. Sadly for me since I had a lot of problems with ”Försäkringskassan” I didn’t get the money I was supposed to get, so I had to return the Wii U I had. Such a damn shame, but I’ll get a new one in the future. I had been away from work some time, I was sick and FK gives you some compensation for that, well they messed up my papers and things went like they did..

Well on too the important part, Nintendo announced that they would release The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD later this year. I’m very interested in that since I’ve just played minimal of the original. So for me that is great news! And that they are working on the new Zelda game for Wii U, looking forward to that too. We will probably see something or get teased at E3 this year. But that’s not the thing that go my attention oh, no. It was Monolith Software’s (Xenosaga, Xenoblade) new game. For now just called ”X”.

I love just about everything I see. When I saw the mech part I immediately thought of Xenogears and Xenosaga. So I’m very hopefully for this and it reminded me that I have to play Xenoblade Chronicles soon! So far we no nothing about the game, not its name or anything just the X-logo in the end of the video, hence why I call it ”X” right now. Duh!
But it will be interesting to see if this is a new game of if it could be Xenoblade 2, either way I am so getting this game.

Shake, shake. Wiggle, wiggle.

Today it happened folks. Something I really didn’t expect to happen actually. But I couldn’t resist when it was so dirty cheap. But I want to be able to play The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword and a bunch of other games. Now I am awaiting Zelda Twilight Princess and of course, Xenoblade Chronicles!

Project on the way!

This weekend has been a great one actually! Me and Elden finally got started on our lite ”movie” project. I’m still keeping it a secret, but we are pleased so far and we’ve had a blast with it.
And we hope you all will enjoy it too, when we finally show it. I don’t want to say anything, because I want it to be a surprise and keep people from judging it beforehand. If this is received well, we’ll continue to make more. Well to be honest, whether is is received well or not, we’ll still do more. And another, and another until you learn to like it! Hehe, just kidding folks. But I’m hoping I’ll be able to share it with you all shortly, we got a lot of work on one it. So perhaps I can have something to show next week. No promises, but as I said. I’m hoping. =)

Not much other stuff going on I’m afraid. Well I’ve started to replay Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, its the only game in the series I haven’t finished yet. And I’m hoping to clear it before Disagea 4 arrives, because that game will be getting my full attention. And I keep hearing more and more good stuff about Xenoblade Chronicles! Goddamn I want that game!! So many games coming out now, how the hell are you supposed to find the time to play everything? Yeah, you have to pick the games you wanna play, but when so many AAA-titles are coming out at the same time you really want to play them all immediately.

What are you looking forward to mostly right now? My top three list at the moment is as follows:
Batman Arkham City, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception and Saints Row The Third. No surprised there I guess, but goddamn! I can’t wait to get my greedy lite mittens on those games! I think I’ve mentioned this before also, but I’m very much looking forward to the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.
I’ve been dreaming about replaying MGS3 in HD. So I hope it will be a nice experience and its gonna be fun to see if the game is as good as I remember it.

Star Ocean, Tales and Chronicles

For the past week I have been playing Star Ocean: The Last Hope International for the Playstation 3.
It was refreshing for me to play an RPG again, and it felt very good to have finished a game I started some time ago on the Xbox 360. But due to the red ring, never could finish. So having that of my backlog is great! The game is pretty okay, cheesy as hell and it has its clichés. But I enjoyed parts of if, but I’ll probably not replay it again.

And it seems I have a few RPG’s to look forward to. The two biggest ones for me are Xenoblade Chronicles and Tales of Graces F. Good thing I can borrow my friend ZX-Omega’s Wii so I can play Xenoblade Chronicles in the future. But today Nintendo of Europe announced that both The Last Story and Pandoras Tower will be released i Europe. So that’s two more RPG’s I just need to have! If I can afford it later I guess I’ll try and buy my own Wii.
And I’m really hoping Namco Bandai can give us some English screenshots or a trailer of Tales of Graces F soon! And a release date! I’m so eagerly awaiting this game! But then again I am a big fan of the Tales of games and I really liked the Japanese demo of TOGF.

And I would like to be able to get around playing the RPG’s I’ve missed on Xbox 360. Games like
Blue Dragon, Magna Carta II, Lost Odyssey and of course finish Tales of Vesperia. Ughh… But we’ll see what happens, I’ve been thinking of getting a new Xbox 360 for some time now. With all other games coming out this year that I want I would hardly have the time to play everything, I’m having problems just finding the time right now. So it would be stupid to add to that. But I wanna…
