Playing for 10hours straight
Today something happened that almost ever happens. I played for about 10hours straight today. I fought I’d try the New Games Plus mode on White Knight Chronicles. Almost at the end of the game again, since I’m at a very high level already combined with I can skip cut-scenes, its moving along very fast.
But then I decided to see if I could play a bit online. And it actually worked pretty decent. So I’ve spent a few hours there with my friends Elden & Ezakiel. And a new American buddy Jonny. What can I say, we all really connected. I thought so at least. He is a great guy with the same kind of humor as we got, it was almost a bit frightening. But thanks to all of you, I would have needed that yesterday.
I was not feeling well then. That others on MSN might have understood. Sorry about that, hope you didn’t feel like I was ignoring you or stuff. But I’m glad I had so much fun today, we’ll see if Final Fantasy XIII will arrive today (Monday) or later in the week. If it doesn’t arrive then WKC will be running hot in my Playstation 3.

Fun times at night
Well late yesterday night (Friday) I had absolutely nothing to do. My computer had given up again, but it seemed for good this time. I had no movies to watch and no one was online to play White Knight Chronicles with me. It was a very saddening an boring night. Probably the worst day/night of the year so far. So it ended with me being so bored out of my skull and felt a bit depressed that I went to bed really early. Nothing wrong with that, but I’d rather it go to bed early because I’m tired not that I am so bored that I don’t know what to do!
Saturday was so much better since we got the computer working again and I played a hell of a lot of WKC online today, so it was very fun.
About 6-7hours was spent on the game today I think. We just said goodbye to each other just a couple of minutes ago. So I’m really gonna rest up now on Sunday, have to do some work that I shall hand in on a meeting I shall go to on Monday. A bit stupid to save most of the worst for the last day perhaps, but yeah shit happens.
And when I wake and have fixed the work I have, I’ll probably play some more WKC.

A knight in shining armor
And the knight has done his duty well. A couple of hours ago I finished
White Knight Chronicles, which was a game I had waited a long time for. I was sold on the game since the first trailer, but It would take some time before I would be able to play it. The game was released December 26th 2008 in Japan, but for some reason the localization took its sweet time. It was released February 2nd 2010 in the US...
Thanks to it being in translation for so long, a lot of people lost interest in it. And I still wanted to see this game being released sometime last year. A shame it didn’t, I’m not sure it was worth the wait. But I did enjoy myself.
The gameplay battle-wise reminds me a bit of Final Fantasy XII, with its
MMOish-interface. If people hated it with FFXII, they are probably gonna hate it in WKC also. The battle-system works fine and is pretty fast, so I’ve got no complaints there. I like the graphics, but I wouldn’t complain it they could have fixed how some of the characters look. The story characters are fine but the rest not so much.
The music in the game is good, but I wouldn’t have complained if there was more variation in it. But the opening/demo theme with the violins in it rocks!
You create your own character in this game, that will follow the main characters through the entire game. This characters biggest role is in the online part of the game. Where he is the main star, but I wish they had made the character creation part a little bit better. Its easier to make a freakish character than it is to make a good looking one. Hopefully they will fix all the minor stuff to the sequel. I would say the game takes about 20-25hours to finish, depending on what you choose to do in the game. And it is a bit easy. While I see those to things as a bit of a let down, perhaps others will be glad to know its not a long game. Or very hard. But thanks to the online part, the games playtime will probably last for about 100hours. At least it wouldn’t surprise me if it lasted that long, to do everything online.
Great game that lived up to my expectations, 2010 has started of really well with first Darksiders and now WKC for my own part. I’m hoping this trend will keep on with Final Fantasy XIII & 3D Dot Game Heroes. If you are looking for an RPG for the PS3 I would recommend this title. The release for the game in Europe is either the 24th or 26th February. Hope the sequel to this game won’t take over a year to localize.

White Knight Chronicles + Weekend
First I’ll start off with that I won’t be online on msn this entire weekend, perhaps by the end of Sunday. I’m having my friend ZX-Omega over and he’ll be staying the entire weekend. So that’s gonna be really fun, we will probably be playing a bunch of games and watch some movies. Ether way I’m looking forward to it.
My copy of White Knight Chronicles came today! So me and ZX-Omega are going to play that later, or rather he will watch me play it. I’ll post my thought and impressions of the game later, might take a quick break and post something here. I’m not sure yet, but sometime over the coming weekend I’ll post some impressions at least.
I’m really glad I was able to get my HDTV, before all the RPG games started dropping in. That was my biggest wish for about 1½ years and I’m so happy it came true.

January the crappy month
And so a month of 2010 has passed. All in all January was a terrible month, especially economically. January did have its fair of good days, but they where to few…
Like I got in contact with an old friend I had thought I’ve lost and getting my HDTV. Beside those two things, there was not much else to weight up the month. And both those good things, happened in the end week of January. I’m really hoping February will be much better… I think I’m gonna start working soon, I’m going to be at a place called ***** and do some cleaning. Like cleaning in schools I think. Hopefully I won’t have to clean up, other peoples shit and I really mean it literally! This is just a job test from “Arbetsförmedlingen“, I’m pretty sure I can’t get a job at *****, but at least I can get experience and search for jobs like it.
And tomorrow hopefully White Knight Chronicles, will be shipped out. So I’m really rooting for it to arrive on Friday the 5th. Come on, come on! Well that’s just about the only thing I’m looking forward to this month, I’m hoping it won’t be a boring month and it will be better economically. Well in March is time for Final Fantasy XIII, seems like I will be getting it thanks to a trade-in deal with Gamestop.
I also thought I was pretty active here on the site last month, with 16 whole posts. Its the largest number of posts in a month for quite some time.
Okay, sure it was 14posts in December. But still! It’s been fun writing. Hoping there will be many fun things to write about this year and not only the bad stuff.

A day with my HDTV
So I’ve had my new TV, over a day now. And damn! I’m in love, I really honestly do love my TV. It really beats the crap out of my old SDTV. Well if it didn’t I would have been very sad. So some impressions perhaps?
I’ll start with my only complaint about the TV. This is not something that makes the TV worse or anything, but I wish it would start a little faster. If you’ve turned it of and then turn it on again it takes about what? 10-15 seconds. Not to complain about that time, but it does feel like its too long, since my SDTV took about what? 3-4 seconds. This is the only thing I can complain about and that something totally worthless to complain about. Still just wanted to get that off my chest.
The image is very nice and sharp, its like day and night comparing to an SDTV. I’ve tried almost every game I own and they all look excellent! And the fact that I can see stuff in the games I couldn’t with my old TV is just awesome. Mostly its just text, but also details on characters clothes or other minor stuff. Details I really enjoy seeing.
The sound from it is really good also, it sounds more natural. Well compared to the old TV anyway. I haven’t tried hooking it up to my computer yet, I’m gonna try that over the weekend. Just for the fun of it and see how it is. Overall its a great TV and I love it and that it would turn out to be a Full-HD tv it seems, is just awesome. That was a surprise even for me. Especially since nowhere on the box does it say its a Full-HD tv, but after some googling and checking a few things out on wikipedia. That seems to be the case. I’m not complaining. ^^
In other news I have completed everything in Darksiders now. I got the platinum trophy for it too. That’s my seventh platinum. I’m not a trophy hunter, I mostly seek out an gather trophies when I don’t have anything else to play. And now I only had to finish Darksiders on the hardest difficulty, so I replayed it now on my HDTV. Will probably trade it in for Final Fantasy XIII, have to get a new copy of Darksiders later when the economy is better. Well now I’m just awaiting the release of
White Knight Chronicles, which I hope will come next week.

May is here!
So it’s finally May. We are five months into the new year. Time has really flown. Soon its time for Transformers: Revenge of The Fallen to have its premier. Its almost been two years since I sat in the cinema and watched the first movie and it felt so damn cool. Looking forward to when I can book some tickets. (So hyped!)
As people might know I’ve also managed to get a new Playstation 3, got it in January. Since my old one broke and the warrant didn’t cover it. So I’ve been playing on it almost every day since then. Right now I’m mostly looking forward to Cross Edge and White Knight Chronicles. A lot of old games I would love to have, but sadly few there are actually money to get.
Would be perfect if I could find a job soon, so I could start buying the stuff I want. I’ve also started to look for apartments. So I’m hoping both job and an apartment could come at the same time.
I would like to have money to visit my two good friend Lania & Kntheking in Stockholm. It would be nice to meet. And I’ve never been to Stockholm so I want to check it out. Would be nice to get away from home too. I want to spend more time with the friends I have close too, wish they could visit a bit often. For me right now its harder to get to places. Its hard getting older, people expect more of you, you have do more. You can’t live without money when you grow up. Things like this makes me wish for simpler times when I was younger. I should have embraced it better, I should have done more stuff then. Now… It feels like its too late. I don’t want to be younger again, I just wish life was as carefree now as it was back then. Even if its just a little bit, that would be enough. Wow, so much rambling here right now. Hope my next post will be something better and miore fun.
