Liten uppdatering!

Nu var det ett tag sedan man uppdaterade igen, har haft fullt upp som vanligt med jobb och liknande. Sedan har jag ju suttit och dröm om PlayStation 5 rätt mycket också. Men imorgon är dagen D äntligen här! Då får jag min PS5! Som jag längtat.

Jag har börjar göra lite videos igen och kommer nog göra en del uppdateringar via det hållet framöver. Ni kan ju checka in dem.

Det kommer en ny video med PS5 snart. Ska även ta en dag och skriva ett ordentligt inlägg här. Men just nu ville jag bara få ut denna infon.

It’s my birthday! Level 37! DING!

It’s that time of the year again when a year of hard gridning finally pays off and you level up! As of today I’m now level 37! Damn I’m starting to get really old! One foot in the grave! Haha. Well perhaps not quite.

Has some friends over last weekend to celibrate a bit early, it was fun and I enjoyed it. Got some gifts too. I now finally have the Black Ranger from the Power Rangers Lightning Collection in my…. Collection. >_>
With Zack in my time I now have the 5 OG Power Rangers, I never had them all even as a child, so this feels great! And Green Ranger will probably be landing in January.

Here they are! The original 5! All in their boxes! They had never been out of the box before, but now with them being together, it’s time to set them free!

Here they are in battleposes and ready to kick evils butt!

And while I don’t have that many bad guys, Lord Zedd, Lord Drakkon and Goldar will all put the Rangers to the test! (I really want Mesogog and a seperate Rita figure!)

I’m so happy with this and it’s a fantastic gift. Zack was also a bit rare and hard to find, so I’m super happy I got him as a gift from my friends. Thanks to my good buddy to posed all the figures for me, I’m not all that good at getting them in the poses I want.
I also got a giftcard from another friend, so now I can get a PlayStation 5 game almost free, so that’s very appriciated. Or I’ll use it on the PS5 to get it a bit cheaper, either way I’m very greatful for that. Thank you. :)

And of course I’ve bought something for myself too. It just so happened that this game released today, so it was the perfect gift to give myself.

Can’t wait (yes I can) to play this one. The last game in the Trails of Cold Steel saga. But I’m not so sure I want to start a long JRPG just 2½ weeks before I’m getting my PlayStation 5. Will save it for later and find something else to play for now.

Here it is the PS5 UI.

Yes, I’m posting a lot of PlayStation 5 stuff right now. But that’s because I’m eagerly awaiting the new generation of PlayStation. Even if I don’t like everything Sony does, like the censor stuff, almost all of the games I want to play are released on the PlayStation platform.

It’s looking nice and snappy. I like that it looks like a mix between the PS3 XMB and the PS4 UI. About 35 days left until we get the PS5 here in Europe, looking forward to it for two main reasons. 1: Of course of the PS5 and a new generation. 2: I have some vacation time taken out and I’m looking forward to just chill for a week.

A look inside PlayStation 5

So a few a days ago Sony released a teardown video of the PlayStation 5.
That means we got to see what the insides of the PS5 looks like and what makes it tick.

I love seeing how stuff like this works, it doesn’t what console of kind of technology.
I find it interesting. But it’s nice to get a confirmation on the white panels are indeed removable, so I wonder how long we’ll have to wait until Sony or someone else makes custome plates. I can haz black plates plz?

We also have some more news on the PlayStation 4 backward compatibility.
As it seems right now, Sony has confirmed that 10 PS4 titles will not be playable on the PS5. This does not mean every title will work right now, but at least it seems like a whole lot of games will work and problably more will work with future updates.

PlayStation 5 will be mine!

Now that we’ve finally had the announcment we where waiting for, the price and release date of the PlayStation 5, I though I’d post my thoughts and such about it.
Of course I’ve preordered and I really, really hope I get one on release day.
Please note that all release dates I’ve posted here are for the European market.
 

You’ve probably already heard when it’s releasing. But for us Europeans it will be released on November 19th, it’s best to check the prices where you live.
Here in Sweden it seems like the Digital Edition will go for 4990SEK and the one with a physical disc drive will sell for 5999SEK.

I have preordered the one that can play physical media, with game prices being higher this new coming generation, I want the ability to sell/trade games. I also want to be able to play my physical PlayStation 4 collection on PS5.
And not to mention UHD Blu-ray movies. Would love to have gotten the headset too, but that will have to come later.
 

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
RELEASE: 2020-11-19 Europe

I’m a big fan of Marvel’s Spider-Man, it quickly became one of my favorite comicbook inspired videogame. But then again, Spider-Man has always been a favorite hero. Either way, when they announced Miles Morales as a sequel I was really happy.
I think this is the first time we can play as a Spider-Man that isn’t Peter Parker.
I could be very wrong about this so don’t lynch me. Gameplay looks good and fluid, can’t wait to swing around Brooklyn with Miles. Will be a release title.
 

Demon’s Souls
RELEASE: 2020-11-19 Europe

First and formost. I am not a fan of Souls games. I’ve tried a few but they have never clicked with me. I did however promise myself to give Demon’s Souls a chance if they did remake it. And yeah, well here I am. Not sure if I’m buying it at release, since next gen games are pretty expensive in Sweden. This will cost 799SEK and right now I will focus on Spider-Man which seems like more of a game for me. But I most say, this one looks really great and it really has me hyped to try it out.
 

Final Fantasy XVI
RELEASE: In the future…

There had been rumblings before the show that we would see the reveal of Final Fantasy XVI, but I didn’t really believe it. So this was a plesant surprise!
I’m really eager to learn more about this game, but for now I think it looks great!
I have been hoping the next one would have more of a fantasy setting, so I’m set so far!
No other info than we’ll see more under 2021 so far.
 

Immortals Fenyx Rising
RELEASE: 2020-12-03 Europe

I much prefered the title Gods & Monsters, but what can you do? I’m very eager to play this one, it looks like a Zelda game with Greek mythology.
I don’t have that much to say about that game, it will be my “Take a chance on it game” for the year. Either it will be good or it’ll be shit. So far I like what I have seen.
 

There are of course a bunch of other games releasing and coming to PlayStation 5 in the future. Right now I have only listed the games I’m interested in, there will be more lists like this in the future. For now these games will have to do. Are you getting a PlayStation 5 at launch? And if you are what games are you getting? Come tell me! :)

Kommande spel 03: Blandat current-gen

Så efter att har varit och sniffat lite på next-gen i förra inlägget så går vi tillbaka till current gen och se vad mer som erbjuds där. Är väl dessvärre några spel här också som inte har ett fast datum just nu, men det får duga!

Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon 2

Utannonserade igår! Trodde nog inte att det skulle få en uppföljare, men blev positivt överraskad. Det första spelet var bra, men jag hade hellre sett ett Metroidvania som Bloodstained: Ritual of the Nigh, men med denna grafiska stilen.
Finns väl inte så mycket mer att säga egentligen. Eller jo. Det finns en karaktär som heter Hatchi. Det är en corgi. Han har en fucking powersuit. Så ondskans makter, ger ni upp direkt eller ska han behöver begrava det som blir kvar av er!?
 

Ys IX: Monstrum Nox
RELEASE: 2020-07-17 —- FORMAT: PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Steam

Etfer Ys VIII blev jag ännu mer sugen på Ys-serien, framför allt älskar jag musiken de har i serien.Fick faktiskt hem Ys Memories of Celceta till PlayStation 4 så sent som i tisdags, samma dag som detta utannonserades! En tillfällighet?!
Tack vare NIS Americs så får även Switch och PC-spelare ta del av spelet och det är ju inte fel att det når ut till en större publik. Ser fram emot och längtar att få höra all awesome musik i spelet.
 

Oneechanbara Origin
RELEASE: 2020-??-?? —- FORMAT: PlayStation 4

Zombies, tjejer och bikinis. Behöver man mer egentligen? Fast så får man väl inte säga.
Detta ska vara en remake av det första Oneechanbara-spelet som släpptes, jag har bara spelat Oneechanbara Z2 och det var förvånansvärt skoj! Så jag ser väldigt mycket fram emot detta om det blir ett lika trevligt hack ‘n slash.
Det ska få en asiatisk utgåva under sommaren, men exakt när det är kan man ju bara gissa på… Spelet kommer då innehålla engelsk text och tal för den delen.

 

Bravely Default II
RELEASE: 2020-??-?? —- FORMAT: Nintendo Switch

.Spelade bara en del av första Bravely Default ouch rörde aldrig uppföljaren Bravely Second. Men nu kommer nästa del och det är till Switch, Bravely Default II. Um… Vänta? Det är en hel ny del i serien och ska inte ha något med den andra två att göra, tänk på denna titel mer som titlarna till Final Fantasy funkar. Det finns en del på eshoppen om man vill testa, jag håller ut tills hela spelet släpps.
 

Tales of Arise
RELEASE: 2020-??-?? —- FORMAT: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam

Var gömmer ni detta spelet Bandai Namco!? Det är ju typ ett år sedan vi fick se något sist! Snälla Bandai Namco, ge oss något nytt nu!! :(
Utvecklar ni en PS5 och Xbox SX version att släppa också? Huh? Kom igen va, ge oss något nytt.. Please sirs…

Kommande spel 02: Next-gen baby!

Här är del två i av de kommande spelen jag ser fram emot, nu hoppar jag lite framåt och till next-gen. Den nya konsol generation kommer börja senare i år, om inget försenas pågrund av mer corona strul. Det behövs mer trevligheter i världen efter de senaste månadernas skit, så håller verkligen tummarna för att inget händer.
Jag kommer som ni kanske redan listat ut huvudsakligen fokusera på PlayStation 5 i dessa listor. Värt att notera att följande spel här har inga release datum i skrivande stund, vet inte heller vilka av spelen som kommer släppas tillsammans med PS5.

Nu kan det ju också bli så att just de spelen ni längtar efter inte kommer med på denna listan, men det är ju okej. För det är ju MIN lista. ;)
Och kommer de inte med denna gången, så kommer det ju flera listor. Kommentera gärna om vad det är ni ser fram emot. Jag vill ju så gärna veta! :)

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales
RELEASE: 2020-??-?? —- FORMAT: PlayStation 5

Det ska väl inte vara lika stort som det första Spider-Man spelet, utan det sägs man ska förvänta sig något mer i stil med Uncharted: Lost Legacy och det var ju nice! Både till innehåll och storlek. Utspelar sig ett år efter första Spider-Man spelet och du kontrollerar nu Miles Morales, som lär sig kontrollera sina nya spindel krafter och det är typ allt vi vet i dagsläget. Men Spider-Man var ett av mina favorit spel det året det släpptes så jag är ju sjukt hajpad på detta! Skulle gissa på att detta blir ett av release spelen. Hoppas ju på det åtminstone!
 

Ratchet & Clank: A Rift Apart
RELEASE: 2020-??-?? —- FORMAT: PlayStation 5

Har ett lustigt förhållande till Ratchet & Clank, bra spel men vet inte riktigt om jag gillar dem. Svårt att sätta fingret på vad exakt det är, gillar både Sly & Jak bättre personligen. Men Ratchet & Clank är ju typ de enda av Sonys “maskot” karaktär som får någon kärlek, så man får ta vad man får! MEn ack, spelen är åtminstone kul och spelen blir bara mer och mer likt en interaktiv Pixar-film. Har väl inte så mycket mer att säga om detta egentligen, inte mer än att jag är sugen och ser fram emot att kicka röv igen med Ratchet. Kan vi få fler sång nr som med Courtney Gears? Thank you. :D
 

Horizon – Forbidden West
RELEASE: 2020-??-?? —- FORMAT: PlayStation 5

Jag stod i två lägen gällande Horizon, en vän älskar det och en annan vän… Gillar det inte lika mycket. Själv hade jag inte intresse för det just då, men efter en sådan stark skillnad i åsikter så behövde jag testa och jo fan, jag gillar det! Inte lika mycket som min vän, men mer än vän nr 2. Så att se trailern på Horizon II var jäkligt nice! Stor fin värld, med nya robotar att bekämpa. Ser verkligen fram emot att se hur spelet blir, nu när man ska kunna bege sig under vatten också (brrr…).
 

Scarlet Nexus
RELEASE: 2020-??-?? —- FORMAT: PlayStation 5, Xbox SX, PS4, Xbox One, Steam

Spelet påminner en del om Code Vein, som inte var en höjdare för mig. Men jag väljer att hoppas på att detta är mycket bättre, striderna ser ju ut att vara betydligt roligare men det estetiska påminner då om Code Vein. Släpps till en massa olika format, men det blir ju helt klart till PS5 som jag skaffa det, dock kommer jag nog avvakta lite och höra vad folk tycker. Men hörni Bandai Namco, är det inte dags ni börja snacka om Tales of Arise nu va? Vet ju snart mer om Scarlet Nexus än ett spel ni utannonserade för över ett år sedan..
 

Kena: Bridge of Spirits
RELEASE: 2020-??-?? —- FORMAT: PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Epic Game Store

Ett färgglatt spel som ser ut att vara en blandning av The Legend of Zelda och Pikmin? Ja, tack! Det låter ju sjukt nice på förhand! Första gången jag såg trailern så kände jag inget speciellt för spelet, men efter att ha sett om den så blev jag betydligt mer sugen.
Ser fram emot att få se mer av detta, men det är helt klart ett av de spel jag fann mest intressant av det som visades till PlayStation 5.
