Kul med hjälpsamma människor…

No English this time folks. I want to write in Swedish sometimes too. :P
Det är alltid så kul med folk som är hjälpsamma, verkligen. Idag råkade vi ut för en “olycka” när vi körde, ingen skadad eller så, men vi körde i diket. Bara för en annan bil kom i lite för högfart och skulle ha hela vägen för sig själv och brydde sig inte om att andra körde där, så körde åt sidan och hamnade på en is-fläck och fick sladd…

Efter vad var det? Fem, sex bilar passerade innan någon stannade och frågade om vi behövde hjälp. Nädå! Vi sitter hårdpackat i snö som räckte mig upp till knäna, nädå vi behöver ingen hjälp! Vi hade inte ringt någon bärgare än för vi försökte få loss bilden själva, med att gräva och ha oss. Men det var lönlöst. Sedan kom ett vänligt äldre par, som var vänligt att säga till en de kände som ägde en grävmaskin så han kom och hjälpte oss. Tackar så mycket, även om ni inte lär läsa detta.

Men varför ignorerar alltid människor andra folk som sitter fast eller behöver hjälp? Tycker det är för djävligt och inte under på att jag hatar de flesta människor. Ja, jag gillar inte folk och detta gör ju inte att jag känner mig mycket bättre inför de heller. Finns för få som hjälper sina medmänniskor. Nu var ju detta inget allvarligt och ingen blev skadad, men om det nu hade varit jävligt illa? Hade de bara kört förbi ändå? Skulle inte förvåna mig det minsta…

A day with my HDTV

So I’ve had my new TV, over a day now. And damn! I’m in love, I really honestly do love my TV. It really beats the crap out of my old SDTV. Well if it didn’t I would have been very sad. So some impressions perhaps?

I’ll start with my only complaint about the TV. This is not something that makes the TV worse or anything, but I wish it would start a little faster. If you’ve turned it of and then turn it on again it takes about what? 10-15 seconds. Not to complain about that time, but it does feel like its too long, since my SDTV took about what? 3-4 seconds. This is the only thing I can complain about and that something totally worthless to complain about. Still just wanted to get that off my chest.

The image is very nice and sharp, its like day and night comparing to an SDTV. I’ve tried almost every game I own and they all look excellent! And the fact that I can see stuff in the games I couldn’t with my old TV is just awesome. Mostly its just text, but also details on characters clothes or other minor stuff. Details I really enjoy seeing.
The sound from it is really good also, it sounds more natural. Well compared to the old TV anyway. I haven’t tried hooking it up to my computer yet, I’m gonna try that over the weekend. Just for the fun of it and see how it is. Overall its a great TV and I love it and that it would turn out to be a Full-HD tv it seems, is just awesome. That was a surprise even for me. Especially since nowhere on the box does it say its a Full-HD tv, but after some googling and checking a few things out on wikipedia. That seems to be the case. I’m not complaining. ^^

In other news I have completed everything in Darksiders now. I got the platinum trophy for it too. That’s my seventh platinum. I’m not a trophy hunter, I mostly seek out an gather trophies when I don’t have anything else to play. And now I only had to finish Darksiders on the hardest difficulty, so I replayed it now on my HDTV. Will probably trade it in for Final Fantasy XIII, have to get a new copy of Darksiders later when the economy is better. Well now I’m just awaiting the release of
White Knight Chronicles, which I hope will come next week.

The big surprise… HDTV get!

So this was my big surprise! As a lot of people already should have guessed. Still didn’t want to say it straight out yesterday. I thought this day would never come, how I have waited. So what all this about?! Well, I finally got my Christmas present from my family+grandpa. A bit late I know, but there has been other things in the way. But I’m so incredible happy right now.
I’m reaching hyper state. Woo! It was some time ago I really felt like this and if feels wonderful! Now I can finally enjoy games on a HDTV and that I shall! I’ll let the pictures say the rest! There is even a rare one with me in it!!

More pizza!

I had some leftover stuff from yesterdays pizza baking and decided to do a last batch of pizza’s. Well today was much better than yesterday. This turned out much better, I put more effort into making the dough and made sure to have all the ingredients at home that I needed. Yesterdays fail, was todays success. “Köttfärssås” on one of them a so called “Bolognese” pizza and the other was tuna since yesterday.

It’s that time again… Pizza!

Haha! This is funny. A bit to funny and a bit scary too! If I just had waited seven more days, it would have been exactly one year since I made a similar post. The post I made then was about food I had made, I made pizza. Not that its anything special, but it was the first time I really made some. And it turned out really good and I was on baking mood today so I decided to make my own pizza again!

This time around it didn’t turn out just as good. Stupid as I was I forgot to check so we had everything at home that I needed. I should have checked for cheese since that was almost empty. The first failure, still got it to work with the minimum cheese we had left. Next time I’m masking sure we have shredded cheese at home.

They hadn’t put to much work in stretching the dough out as much as I should have, so some parts of the pizza got really big. Which I don’t like. So there was failure number two. Well it still turned out good and tasted good. I used tuna-fish this time. While its not as good as kebab, but still pretty good. Next time I’m checking that I have all ingredients that I want at home, then I’m gonna but more time into the dough. I was just sloppy today. And for that I also payed the price with my pizzas.
Cooking and baking is something I really enjoy, this might not have been a very “fun” or “interesting” post from me. But still, I wanted to show my works and even if that are disappointing. Guess I’ll make some cookies next time. ;)

We have snow!!

It started snowing a few days ago, but it was today that the snow actually stayed put. And its been snowing the whole goddamn day! Maybe we’ll actually get a white Christmas in Sweden this year, would be nice for a change. I can’t remember the last time we had a Christmas with snow. T’is the season to be jolly? Hohoho and all that.

Wish I had a better camera, but at least here is what it looks at home right now.

My Xenosaga Collection!

Now that the year is nearing its end, I thought It was about time I made a post about my Xenosaga Collection. So I’ll be posting all my games, figures and stuff. Yes, I’ll have pictures for everything I have. It is a bit sad to be just about the only(?) Xenosaga fan in Sweden. But hey, I really love the series.
And this is how I show my support, even if the series has is as good as dead now… At least Namco Bandai is letting KOS-MOS be cameos in some games… But I’m still dreaming of a Xenosaga Episode IV. How I want that to happen…

Uncharted 2, I got it!

Just came back from my local Gamestop about 30minutes ago. Picked up my copy of Uncharted 2 Among Thieves. Now I’m just gonna check my email, fix something to eat. Fix a few other stuff and then its of to game land!
