The day is here!
Woho! Finally! Its Metal Gear Solid 4 release day! I’m just a few hours EB Games/Gamestops opens and I’ll get my reserved copy of the game! And be on my way home to play. God I’ve been looking forward to this day this whole year, and now its here! My good friend Elden will accompany me home, to sit with me as I play this game.
Its also his birthday tomorrow so Happy Birthday in advance!! :D
I’ll be posting an update later, with pictures of the game. And a few first thoughts about the game.

The catch of today!
So me and my buddy Claim Solaris, where in town today. Just chilling taking it easy. We grabbed a “fika”, which I’ve never done with him before! Well its the first of many times. And it was really nice and it was raining. I loved it.
And now I’m so hyped for MGS4. So I filled up with some soda. 3x Cola, 2x Fanta and 1 Sprite. The sprite is for my mother. Don’t like it much myself. And for all that I had to fork out… Get ready…. 30SEK! Well I’m happy. =)
And my sister was kind enough to buy me Eternal Sonata from Rusta, for 199SEK. Woho, thanks sis. =D

So many RPGs….
So Microsoft announced a bunch of RPGs that are heading to the 360.
Most of them where all old games previously announced, but then they announced that Star Ocean 4 is coming to 360. And right now it looks like its exclusive! Bah. So, yeah. Just have to take it and get a Xbox 360.
And Metal Gear Solid 4 is here soon! God I’ve waited an eternity for this game. And finally, I can soon play it. I might do a quick little update on the day I get the game, right before I start to play it. But I just wanna run home and play it all day long! <3
Well other than all the game talk its been very boring. I’m going to go back to school. So I’m going to read up on my math, swedish and english. And a few other stuff. Hopefully it will be somewhat fun.

Preorder? Check!
Yes! Preordered Metal Gear Solid 4 today. I used it their trade in deal.
Trade in 2 PS3 games and get it for 9SEK. So I had some money on my giftcertificate and bougtht two cheap ass games in my local EB and traded them in directly.
So I haven’t paied a penny (yet, will pay those 9SEK when I get the game).
So that felt like a very good deal! so now I’m just hoping June 12th will come A.S.A.P.
Then I’m going to look myself in my room and do nothing but play MGS4. ^^
Oh and its 28 days left untill its released.

Cleaning Frenzy
Thanks to the weather being the way I want it to be today, cloudy (no sun, woho) and a bit chilly. I finally took the liberty to do a big cleaning on my room. Dusted everything I have. And there was a lot of dust! >.<
But now everything is cleaned and it feels so good. I also moved some furniture around the room. So I have a bit more space now, not that I need it. Its just nice to have it.
Other than that, its been very quitet. Nothing much has happened. I'm going on a "studiebesök" on Lernia the 20th this month. So after that I'm pretty sure I'm going to start my education on becoming a welder. Perhaps not the ideal job I've wanted. But if I can get a job and get cash, I'm ready to do it. If I get a job as a welder when my education is finished, I hope I'll be able to move to my own place about a year after that.
I'm going to start playing Vagrant Story for the PS1 later tonight, so I hope that game is good. I've played a little of it before. But I don't know what to make of it… I'd rather play something else, but it will have to do. Hopefully I'll like it more when I play it.
Well at least I hope it will keep me settled untill Metal Gear Solid 4 arrives. After that I don't have anytime to spend on any other game. Oh, Snake!

Finished Uncharted
Earlier today I finished Uncharted. It was a wonderful game. I can’t wait to replay it, but won’t untill I’ve finished Ratchet & Clank and also have gotten a Dualshock 3 controller. Mostly since I like the feedback I get in the controller with rumble.
As I said the game was great, and beautiful. The music was drawn from an adventure movie. It was awesome. <3
Ohh, the time is closing in on both Metal Gear Solid 4 and Soul Calibur 4. Must get a second controller untill SC4 is released. Hope the RPGs will start to drop in on the PS3 soon. I feel like I really could use one right about now. Guess I’ll have to settle for Enchanted Arms untill better stuff comes along. And now I’m off to start playing Ratchet & Clank Tool of Destruction.
The third game I’ve been drooling over of the games released on the PS3. For those who don’t know or remember the other two where Folklore & Uncharted. Of course there are more games to drool over now, but they where the original three. ^^

Review: Folklore
FOLKLORE
This is one of those three games (that are out) I’ve really wanted the most on Playstation 3. The other two being Uncharted (review coming later) and Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction.
The story takes place in the village of Doolin. Ellen who thought she lost her mother 17years ago. suddenly send her a letter. Telling her she is alive and in Doolin. She travels there but finds nothing… Until she gets a hold of the messengers cloak. With it she can travel to the Netherworld and meet the dead. And hoping she might meet her mother or get clues about here mother there. The Netherworld is the world the soul goes to when you die. About the same time Keats, a journalist for an occult magazine get a phone call. A woman screaming for help and that she is going to get killed by something in Doolin.
Keats being as curious as he is, he heads to Doolin. Where he by “chance” is also receives a bit of the cloaks powers.
Both Ellen and Keats have different, rolls to play. Ellen wants to regain her lost memories, while Keats..
Well he’s just curious and loves a good story. Anything to sell a magazine…. But as always things gets more complicated and they first turnout. You gather monsters called Folks in this game and use them to fight. You can set a Folk to any of the four buttons, Triangle, Circle, Cross or Square. As I said you use these Folks to fight. Sometimes you need a certain Folk to absorb another Folk.
You hit them until you see their soul or ID as they call in the game. When it turns red, you have to yank the controller to get the ID our of the body of the Folk.
Sometimes you need to shake the controller up and down, turn it left and right. There are a few different ways you have to do it. But this is almost never used on Folks, just on Folklores.

I can’t seem to remember a single piece of music from the game, so if there ever is a squel they need to fix that part. And I would have liked more voice acting. I’m actually a bit dissapointed. I know I’ve said I rally liked the game to others, but when I finished the game and got the whole impresion I realised I actually only continued to play for the story. I was expecting a bit more. Guess I had to high hopes for this game. Still worth a rent/playing once. Or if you really want but it. Its up to you. Myself I’m going to see if I can get this traded for Ratcher & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction..

PLUS
+ The story is moved forward with a comic book like style. I like it.
+ The story is actually really interesting and kept me going.
+ You can collect cloaks (dresses) for Ellen. I love it when you can change clothes in games.
MINUS
– The game sadly get repetitive, and you don’t need much of a tactic to capture the Folks.
– I wish they had added voice acting too those comic book scenes.
– The music is okay. Nothing more nothing less. You won’t remember it
