E3 2015: The show so far
Now that both Microsoft and Sony’s show is over, lets see what where some of the highlights for me. I liked Microsoft’s event this year, first time ever I think. They where focused and it felt like they finally knew what they where doing, a bunch of great announcements. The first gameplay of Rise of The Tomb Raider was awesome.
The Rare collection which includes 30 titles from Rare, that’s a lot of quality games you get there. They announced that Xbox One would become backwards compatible with Xbox 360 games, which probably was my biggest surprise and something I think is great. The Minecraft / Hololens demo was pretty fucking awesome I must say.
Sony re-revealed The Last Guardian, guess it wasn’t canceled. I for one don’t care for the game at all, but I know a lot of other folks do, so I’m happy for them. Creator of Shenmue, Yu Suzuki revealed a Kickstarter for Shenmue 3, never thought I’d see the day. But then they went and revealed something I never thought I would see ever and that was the remake of Final Fantasy VII. Yes, they are finally remaking that game. I’m not a FFVII fan, I liked the game sure, but it’s not my favorite and I liked Crisis Core more. But I still got very excited over this news. They showed a lot of stuff that doesn’t interest me as much, but we got to see the first gameplay of Uncharted 4 and it looked good.
And now for two things that was not show in any of the press events, PlatinumGames is making Transformers: Devastation and it looks awesome! Really looking forward to that.
And I just check my Twitter just a short while ago, to see them having announced that they are releasing the 20th anniversary DualShock 4 controller separately! This might not a very big deal, but damn I’m in love with that color and the colored Home button. It really gets the nostalgia in me flowing, I need this controller. I’m going to get this controller when it is released in September. I’ve also wanted a second controller for a while, so this will be my new main controller and the other will be Player 2 controller.
Some really great stuff and so far one of the better E3 in a while. And let’s not forget we still have Nintendo’s and Square Enix event to see later today. But right now I need some sleep.

E3 2015 is closing in…
So we are about one week away from E3, one of the most festive times for a gamer. And it’s one of the few traditions I have myself, I’ve followed E3 live since 2006 and it has become of the things long for most in the year.
So which shows am I going to follow? All of them? No, I’m skipping out on Bethesda, EA and Ubisoft those three companies don’t interest me in the slightest. But who knows, maybe I’ll be surprised. But somehow I seriously doubt it and this is just what I think, you can like them all you want, this is just my opinion. I as I said I will be genuinely surprised if they announce something I’m interested in, of course I’m hoping they do.
So I’m going to watch Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo and Square Enix. While Microsoft has had the most boring show two years in a row, I’m pretty interested to see what they can do now. There is a rumor floating around that Sony is going to have some JPRG announcements to share with us, while I do think this is BS to some degree I sincerely hope this is true!
Nintendo. Well as always Nintendo seems to be the ones to surprise me the most, both in a good and bad way. So I’m hyped to see what they have for goodies for us this year. And Square Enix is a newcomer in having their own press event. So I’m not sure what to expect but I’m hoping we’ll get to see the first clip from Star Ocean 5.
So am I hoping for anything special? Maybe a confirmed date for Tales of Zestiria and a confirmation if they are releasing a PlayStation 4 version or not, even if it seems very likely they are. Other than that I just hope for a good E3, with many good games being announced.

E3 2014: Sony and Microsoft
While Nintendo got its whole own post, I thought I would make just one with both Sony and Microsoft. Why? Well, Microsoft didn’t have many games that interested me and sadly it was mostly the same for Sony. I’m not saying the companies didn’t have any interesting games, not at all. Just that they didn’t spark much interest in me and those that I did have interest in I’ve mentioned before somewhere, like The Last of Us Remastered and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain to give a few examples.
SONY
There was a few titles that really caught my eye, but some of them have been announced before. Like I mentioned earlier TLOUR and MGSV:TPP, so I won’t really count them here. But there where a few others that really made me happy.
Batman Arkham Knight
Sure, we have gotten videos of this before. But this was the first gameplay we got from the game. And it is huge! And it was so fluid, I like the other Arkham games and I am really looking forward to this one.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
OMG! This was one of the biggest surprises for me on this E3, I didn’t think they would show anything from the newest Uncharted. But they at least gave us this teaser and damn! I want this game now! 2015 is going to be one hell of a gaming year, goddamn!
MICROSOFT
I’m sorry to say that from what I saw from Microsoft there was only a few things that really interested me. But there was something at least and here they are!
Dead Rising 3 – Character add-on DLC
Having four-player co-op in this game looks to be fun as hell! Dead Rising 2 was fun with just one friend, but now you can add two more to the fun. Hell yeah!
Scalebound
I like Platinum Games and I’ve enjoyed the games they have released so far. So this trailer had me wanting more! I want to see more, I want to know exactly what kind of game this is.

The E3 2014 pizza!
I was going to post this yesterday, but a few things came in my way so I didn’t have time to fix everything. But damn, they where good! I’ll post my reactions and thoughts about the E3 when I’ve seen the Nintendo direct also, I really hope Nintendo has something great to announce and a few surprises.
Just a little reminder what the pizzas where for. My pizza to the left and my friend Elden’s on the right, he has a much sturdier hand than me. And had an easier time “writing” on the dough.
I covered my pizza with minced meat with taco-spices, bacon bits and a curry mix with bits of ham. It was delicious as hell! One of the best things I’ve ever had on a pizza! And Elden’s pizza with chorizo salami and roast beef, he liked it!
Here they are both done! They where very delicious! Yummy!

Pre-E3 preperations!
This year I’m going to watch E3 with my good friend Elden! Yaay!
Really looking forward to sharing this moment with a friend, now drops some big bombs so we can be hyped together! We are preparing snacks, food and other stuff. We will be making our own pizza, we’ll share our creations with you later! I know that my pizza posts has been fairly popular on my site, so it was time to make some more! And hoping people will enjoy it as much as we’ll do making this! =)
Here is the preparations I’ve made so far! I’ve made the pizza dough and tomorrow, we’ll make the pizzas. Really looking forward to see and taste our pizzas. E3 hype engage!

This was a really bad week…
This week has been one hell of a week, it started bad but thankfully it’s gotten better! It would really kick-started my depression and I really don’t want that right now. This is just a rant post, I need to get the negative thoughts out of my head. Firstly it started with my headache, I’ve had it for a few days but Monday-Tuesday where the worst days of it. With nausea and dizziness following the headache. And to top the Monday of even more I got my bicycle stolen outside my home, me and a neighbor or two got ours taken. So that of course added to my already grumpy personality.
Since I’ve more or less have slept this week away, because I could hardly do anything else the headache really took it’s toll on me. I haven’t been able to go too the gym either, so I feel really guilty about that. Yesterday, my keyboard stopped working and I’m low on funds right now to buy something new. So I had to dig out an really old crappy keyboard. Sure this is just whining but still, little stuff adding and adding when you’ve already had a bad week can sometimes make or break everything.
The worst part is that my cellphone is singing its last song and that is really something to be really worried about. I need the phone, to keep track of my meetings, contact people.
The calender is more or less essential in my work since I can sync it with my computer. Those of you who need your phone in your work, knows just how important it is to have it working. So now I need to start looking for a new one, again I don’t have the cash for this right now. And I’m just feeling the pressure of this stuff now, stuff getting stolen, stuff breaking. Why most everything happen at the same time? Give me some time to breathe!
Everything is starting to feel better now, no more headache and I’ve regained my strength and energy. So that feels really good! The feeling you get when you can finally rise from all shitty stuff that has happened is one of the greatest feelings I know. Next week it E3, that a reason too be happy. I’m going to watch it with my friend Elden this year, so that’s going to be really great! I soon have vacations, all together I’m just working nine more days. then I’m just going to chill! So that’s something I’m longing for and I have a whole lot of games I can’t wait to finally have some time too play. Plus I am going to the gym everyday on my vacation, so be sure I keep some form of time table. Or I might accidentally revert back into old ways of living. But in the end, I think everything will be good and workout just fine.

E3 2014 in a few weeks!
Oh, my aching body! Man I’m beat. My muscles hurt everywhere! Well at least I’m still going to the gym, won’t quit that easily. But man, it sure hurts. But it’s like they say; Pain is weakness, leaving the body. Got to keep fighting, but I enjoy it. Yeah, I’m going to stop nagging about the gym now.
Soon the event of the year for me is here! Well, this is mostly true. Watching E3 live has become a tradition for me, I’ve been doing it a couple of years now and I’ll continue to do so. It will begin on June 9th, 18:00 in Swedish time. As I’ve mentioned in past posts, I can’t remember AM or PM. You’ll have to find the time for your country on your own, sorry.
I’m really looking forward to this years E3 for various reasons, I’m hoping Microsoft is brining something great! At least it will be more enjoyable without Don Mattrick, I really couldn’t stand that guy. He has this creepy face and looks like he has zero confidence. Phil Spencer seems like he is on the right track and hopefully will bring a bunch of good stuff. Hopefully it will be better than last year, which in my opinion was just terrible.
Sony is doing good with the PlayStation 4 right now and I’m very excited to see what they’ll reveal. I’d love to get some JRPG’s announced. Perhaps we’ll have to wait for Tokyo Game Show for that, but I’m still hoping. Absolutely nothing wrong with dreaming. I hope they won’t grow arrogant, like they have been in the past. I like this new Sony and I hope they keep delivering. Sadly we won’t be seeing Jack Tretton on the Sony stage this year, since he has left the company. I really enjoyed hearing him speak, so its going to be interesting to see who will replace him.
But I’m most looking forward to Nintendo, I want to see what they bring to the table. I really want them to take revenge and get back in the top. Don’t get me wrong, they make great games! But it would be nice if more people made games for the Wii U and I sure hope they can turn it around and be more successful. I want to see more of “X” and perhaps they’ll reveal the real name of the game, will probably be “Xeno” something. Hopefully we can get a first glimpse at The Legend of Zelda U and other great Nintendo games.
I enjoy it that Nintendo is starting to take a more humors approach to themselves, like you can see in Tomodachi Life Direct and the new Mega64 video. Reggie is a pretty fun guy after all! ;) Look them up, you’ll probably not regret it.
