Mega Man 9 cleared!
Finally! After owning this game for almost a year I thought I was time I cleared the game. And that’s what I’ve been doing these past three days.
When I first started to replay it I sucked as hell, couldn’t finish the simplest things. But thankfully after a few hours with the game, it finally felt right again. I really hate that I died to much as I did, but it felt good when I got back in the groove again.
Man I’m so glad to have finished this game.I know, not the best of clear times. But I don’t care! I’m just so damn happy about finishing the game. ^^
This was probably the last game of the year I finished too, unless I play something in the upcoming week. Who knows? If I don’t, then at least I finished this gaming year with a great game.

Batman Arkham Asylum gets sequel!
One of this years best games games, Batman Arkham Asylum is getting a sequel. The game has the tagline “Arkham Has Moved“. And the teaser here below shows a ruined Gotham City, hopefully we’ll get to play in the entire city this time!
That thought alone it enough to make me joygasm! Yet another must have!!

Transformers: War for Cybertron
Holy fuck! I’m excisted now! There will be a new Transformers game coming out 2010, its called Transformers: War for Cybertron. It won’t be based on any of the old story’s, which for my part is something good. then they can’t screw up old stuff at least. The art-style seems to be a mix of G1 & War Within which I love!

Sad part is it’s not tied to any continuity. As the name suggests it’s pretty much War Within but the Video Games on telling it seems. It’s taking cues from Gears of war as a 3rd Person over the shoulder shooter. Will have a Autobot and Decepticon Campaign. They keeping quiet on Multiplayer but it will have some sort of Online modes. Like the Armada game you will be able to choose which bot you want for a mission but the other bots not chosen will be your teams AI. Enemies will drop weapons which is interchangeable. And like the movie games we won’t be confined to land vehicles only. And transforming plays a good deal into gameplay.
All in all it looks pretty sweet. Release is for 2010 for 360, PS3, and PC

But I know it might be stupid to expect to much from this, but I haven’t been this hyped on a Transformers game since I played Transformers Armada for the PS2.
But at least they are going the right way with the art-style IMO, can’t wait to get my hands on this I’m buying this even if it turns out to be shit!
Well okay, maybe not. But I’m getting it at least! And I sure hope it will be good…

4 games I’m looking forward to in 2010
So since I’m working on my list of best and worst things of 2009, I thought I could make a post about what I’m looking forward to in the upcoming year. So here is my game list, I decided to just stick with four games that I’m most interested in now. Since they are game I’m 100% I’m getting. I will probably do a list like this with movies also, not to sure yet. What games are you looking forward to in 2010?
3D Dot Game Heroes (PS3)
its a Zelda type of game or ripoff like some would say. I can understand that, since its heavily inspired by the old Zelda games. It’s because of that and the great music from the game that has made me so interested. I’m hoping this will be a better Zelda experience for me than the newest Zelda games. I’m in love with the retro feeling and charm or this game.
Darksiders (PS3 & 360)
You play as one of the four horsemen of Apocalypse and is trying to restore balance to the destroyed world. Its said to be a Dark-Zeldaish game. The art is nice and from trailers it looks pretty awesome. Already preordered from Gamestop thanks to game trade-ins.
Final Fantasy XIII (PS3 & 360)
Well for most people when you say RPG they say or think Final Fantasy, its not my favorite RPG-series but I’ve enjoyed the games I’ve played so far. And now its time for part 13 to be released. After playing the demo earlier this year, I’ve been really hyped about this game and I hope it turns out really well.
White Knight Chronicles (PS3)
Long awaited RPG that was released about a year ago in Japan, the sequel was announced before this was confirmed to come outside of Japan. But it is and I can’t wait to take the role of Leonard and transform into a giant knight.
The game will have an online part where you can play as the character you have to create in-game, here you will be able to gather items to use in the games main story. I think I’ll be spending some time with the online mode.

God of War Collection
I was never interested in the God of War series, when it was new. Well not very interested in it when it was old either. But then I saw God of War 3 and started to get some interest for it. And then there was this rumor about Sony porting
GoW1 & GoW2 to Playstation 3. So I said if that’s true I’m gonna play them and see if I like them, at least I need to give the games a fair chance before I rule them out.
And so it was proven true and I got a hold of the collection for PS3 with both
God of War games. So starting with GoW1 I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect.
So I start the game and I’m greeted by Kratos who jumps to his death from a cliff, he says the gods have forsaken him and taking his life would end his suffering. But before he hits the sea, you will get to play the game. And see what leads Kratos to take his own life. And there we’ll learn that Kratos is out to kill the God of War, Ares.
I’m not gonna dive into the gameplay, but if you’ve played any kind of hack ‘n slash, you know what to expect. For me this is one of the best hack ‘n slash games I’ve played. Devil May Cry has got nothing on God of War in my opinion. Well I never liked those games. And Kratos is brutal, no jokes, no funny stuff. Just a fucking killing machine. Normally I don’t like characters like that, but its really fits Kratos.
The game is really frustrating at times, I felt the urge to scream more than once. Some parts where just sick, remember I’m mostly an RPG-player, so this was a challenge for me. But I managed to finish the game and I have slowly started on the second game now. I was about to give up the first game, but after some death scenes I was finally on my way again. I never thought I was going to like this series, but it grew on me. I didn’t like that you had to use the R2 button to open doors and rapidly press it, it felt a bit awkward. But that’s just about my biggest complaint.
I can finally see why so many like Kratos and the games. The second game is already showing promise and I like it a bit more already. So I will hopefully be getting
God of War 3 if I can get my hands on it. Well gotta go back & kick ass with Kratos.

Platinum get! Uncharted 2!
And so I’ve taken the platinum trophy in Uncharted 2 Among Thieves. I was a lot easier than i thought, since I really had to work for in in the first game. So now I have cleared 100% of the game, it feels pretty nice to say that. It is a really great game and I will play it again sometime, but now I need a break from it. Will probably play some Little Big Planet again or Eat Lead: Return of Matt Hazard.
Other news, I’ve been feeling a bit sick again. Got a bit of a cold again! What am I? A cold magnet? Feels like that way. And now I have a migraine headache. Ugh. Hope it goes away soon, all this away time from “work” will really take its toll on my pay.
I will get a shitty pay as hell in November. =(

Uncharted 2 tomorrow!
Tomorrow is the release of Uncharted 2 Among Thieves in Europe. Well, Sweden at least. I’ve been eagerly awaiting that game. It feels a bit unrealistic that the game is finally here. But I’m glad it is here. I really needed something new to play.
Will probably post some of my impressions tomorrow, if I’m not too busy with the game. Now I just have to wait for Ratchet & Clank: A Crack in Time to be released and I’m very happy. Perhaps we will see each other online in the multiplayer mode.
But probably not, will most likely just play with some friends. But who knows?
