We are here. The last day of 2009. Too think its already been nine years since we celebrated the new millennium. It feels weird. Time sure passed by quick.
Here is my list of what I’ve played and watched in 2009, both things I’ve loved and other games that has made me so disappointed with them that I never want to touch them again. I also started to use WordPress this year, having first moved from Livejournal, where I had been for about 3 years.
Then I moved to Blogger, which I ditched pretty fast for WordPress. Well enough chatting here is my list and happy new year to you all, see you 2010!!

For the past couple of hours I’ve been totally occupied with work. I’ve finally continued my vectorization of a picture I’ve been working on for a long time.
I had done the body and face before, but today I finally got around to make the hair. Goddamn! Its really much work to vectorize that. But I’m very pleased with the way it turned out and I have a few things left.
For those of you who don’t know the picture I’ve been vectorizing is of KOS-MOS from Xenosaga.
I’m still missing some details on her headgear, will take care of that next. And I have to give draw her chocker. Since I’m going away later today, going to spend two days at a friends house. There will be no more work on this for now. After the rest is done all that is left to do is color this picture and upload it to DeviantArt, for the whole world to see.
Hopefully people will enjoy this picture also. This will also hopefully be the first of a few KOS-MOS vectors.
When I’m done with all, I’m going to create an image gallery here on the site for the pieces of artwork that I’ve made. Well at least I’m going to have the stuff I’m most pleased with. Enough talk, enjoy the picture. Please comment it if you feel like it.
And after that all that is left to do is color this picture and upload it to DeviantArt, for the whole world to see.

Two of my closest friends, Elden & Ezakiel have been trying to get me to play
Dead Space. And I’ve had other things to play, so I ignored it. Had other games that I gave higher priority. Well, about 1½ week ago, (maybe more) I had no more games to play, no more excuses. So I borrowed it from Elden.
And then today I finished the game. It took me 10h and 21min to clear, It was a good game and I jumped out of my seat more times than I care to mention.
Both my friends love this game while I think it was okay. It gave me the fright I was hoping Resident Evil 5 was going to give me, but it appears that starting to get tired of horror games. I will probably not play this game again. Once was enough for me.
THE GOOD: What I liked about the game
The necromorph aliens in the game are pretty scary and are a good verity of them. And I’m pretty sure you’ll be scared at least once in the game. The music is another thing I like in the game, they use it really well to build up certain moments. Or just when they want to scare the living shit out of you. Really creapy atmosphere, I like. Very good looking game and gory. Yummy.
THE BAD: What I disliked about the game
I felt the game was fairly monotonous and it got boring pretty quickly.
Get objective, go do that, get next objective, do that, go to Tram, chapter end. Repeat for every chapter in the game… It might be a standard in these kind of games, but it felt much worse in this game. The story wasn’t all that great, not that I expected it to be great. I just think a story like this works better in movies…
And I hated that Issac (main character) was a mute. Its one of those things I’m so sick of in games, unless you make a character yourself. Then its okay IMO.
As I said in the beginning of this post, I’m getting somewhat tired of horror games. While I did enjoy DeadSpace, there was still something I felt I was missing. I’m not sure what. Or its just that feeling of being bored that took over.
For me Dead Space is a 7/10.
Christmas came and before we know it it was over again. For once we had a white Christmas, which was a nice change from the usual hot/green Christmas. But as always I sadly couldn’t get into the holiday spirit. Maybe next year…
Well on the 23rd of December three of my very good friends came to visit, two of them I don’t see very often. So it made me happy to meet them again. And I hope you had a good time, a shame you had to go so early…
My friend Amadeus gave me his old external HDD as a late birthday present. And I’m extremely happy for that, it was very much needed. I love it! Finally I can start working with bigger things again (AMVs, movies etc.) since the current hard drive in my computer is about 15gb. I can’t do shit with it. So thanks man!
For Christmas I didn’t really get that much. Just a little money, this year has been pretty bad for our whole family economically, so it yeah. Hopefully next year will bring something better, since its slowly starting to turn around. I’m really crossing my fingers that I can feel like I’m alive next year, that I can have cash to visit friends or just take a trip somewhere. Its really depressing to be so bound by money and there are no other ways to get to meet people.
I’ve also started to watch The Big Bang Theory. And I must say I like it! I can recognize myself in the show fairly well, except for all the smart stuff. Its a pretty good series to watch when, you have nothing else to do. Plus I must say I do enjoy the characters. Walowitz FTW. Some find this show boring, I can somewhat understand that. But I’ve found it quite enjoyable. See y’all around!
Christmas is here! Have you been a good boy/girl? I hope so or Santa won’t bring you any presents! How will you in Sweden spend this day?
I will spend it with my dear family as always.
And as I’ve done the last couple of years, I’m not going to watch “Kalle Ankas Jul“.
I’ve just grown tired of it, watching it year after year after year. It might be tradition, but it ain’t my tradition! Well take care everyone who visits my site, have a real good Christmas together with family and friends.
Finally! After owning this game for almost a year I thought I was time I cleared the game. And that’s what I’ve been doing these past three days.
When I first started to replay it I sucked as hell, couldn’t finish the simplest things. But thankfully after a few hours with the game, it finally felt right again. I really hate that I died to much as I did, but it felt good when I got back in the groove again.
Man I’m so glad to have finished this game.I know, not the best of clear times. But I don’t care! I’m just so damn happy about finishing the game. ^^
This was probably the last game of the year I finished too, unless I play something in the upcoming week. Who knows? If I don’t, then at least I finished this gaming year with a great game.
Just like last year my friend Lania, has a meme on her site. And I “stole” that one to post myself and this year I’m doing the same thing. Why? Its sorta funny to do lists like this and I don’t have anything other to do right now. Here is 2008 meme list. some stuff on this list will probably make people think I’m a grumpy old fart, well that somewhat true. Its just that I have a hard time being positive and so much shit happens.

It started snowing a few days ago, but it was today that the snow actually stayed put. And its been snowing the whole goddamn day! Maybe we’ll actually get a white Christmas in Sweden this year, would be nice for a change. I can’t remember the last time we had a Christmas with snow. T’is the season to be jolly? Hohoho and all that.
